football beat UA, both lax teams beat AE opponents, softball
threw a no hitter. women's soccer beat maine, and baseball
swept ualbANy 4-0 (last game was 11-0).

I have not watched a single Stony Brook football game this year
because of that damned Flo Sports. I don't know if it was the
CAA that agreed to it, or if Heilbron pushed more for it, but it
sucks. It's a predatory price model for schools like us that
aren't full members.
I enjoyed watching us on SNY last year! The JMU game in
particular – very entertaining even if we wound up on the wrong
end of it, and it was available for all of the Tri-State area to
see. I'm sad that I can't watch us on SNY this year but we're
better off not humiliating ourselves to the general public this
season.
Reading game recaps and looking at stats is really the only way
I've been able to keep up. Fields' statlines are completely
abysmal, I can't sugar coat it. Yes, I know he's been dealing
with minor injuries here and there but how do you go from
posting the 2nd-best season for a Stony Brook QB ever to
averaging 100 yards per game??? I can tell we won the Albany
game in spite of him, not because of him. 7-16, 58 yds. Holy
fuck.
