Wow, what a disappointment! I’ve lost a lot of interest in this
program since CAA is on FloSports, which is the worst. Get back
on espn+, and I’ll support more. Men’s major sports really
taking a dive of late.

I've been told Chuck did not talk to the press following the
game. Or at least opposing press. Idk if the Statesman or
Newsday grabbed a quote from him.
Chuck Biden. Hiding from the Press now. That's when you know the
bull$hit is getting deep at the Brook
Chuck didn't even give a quote to Newsday, and SBU Athletics
bends over backward for them.

While I attended SBU, my dad would from time to time check in on
the school's athletics. He would pay more attention to the teams
I was covering for the Statesman or working for the department,
but since graduation has not paid much attention, until today.
Pops decided to check out recent activity and saw last night's
AE championship, then saw today's loss. Walked into my room just
now and sang "someone's gonna lose their job" over and over
again. Had to explain to him the head coach is due nearly a
million through '22 season.

With other institutions, your dad would be correct, but
unfortunately, SB doesn't conduct business that way. Politics
runs very big in this neck of the woods. Chuck Biden has a major
pull within the State. Football is secondary.

Its over. I said 27-2 Delaware. It ended at 31-3 Delaware. WR's
are not good. They created turn overs again. Penalties. A very
un-disciplined team. Ou rstarting qb got hurt. Zamot did well. I
dont now why they are playing this spring. Defense needs help.

A little scary how close the prediction was.

Its time for a new AD. Long overdo.

While I strongly agree with the sentiment that Priore needs to
go, that nickname is incredibly silly. Injecting politics into
this is unnecessary

The truth hurts sometimes, I know. But NYS is a breeding ground
if you rub elbows with the right people. SBU is no different.
trust me on this one..

This is bad. Enough said.
Im starting to agree with some of the guys that our coaches are
too comfortable. Time for AD to rock the boat!
I started an analysis of SH’s record, but never finished it due
to time constraints. In short, it was a mixed bag, but less
successful among what I would call the major sports. He gets a
high grade in infrastructure, not much else.
The notion that that Priore has great political NYS contacts is
laughable. I’d like to know who they are. It’s the contract,
not his “political contacts,” that keeps him at SB.

Yes, but who makes the contracts and signs off on them. Another
high, state political appointee. When enough people draw
attention to a matter that's when action is taken. In this case,
I'm quite certain coach P is taking and feeling the heat. Let's
see if his contract gets renewed again. I will bring this topic
up in a couple of years.

It’s SH’s call, not some unidentified state official. If you’re
going to make this claim, name names. Otherwise, it’s just a
guess.
I have no love for Priore.. I don’t like watching this team
play (especially the O) anymore.
