Small news nugget that maybe only I missed: Juwan White is
headed to Texas A&M International. The D-II Dust Devils have
gone 10-63 over the last three years.
While Gueye was a loss, it does feel like we trimmed some fat
too.

Roster alert: We have another Shumpert!
Payton Shumpert was the freshman recruit, and now we have
Preston Shumpert Jr., who is a redshirt freshman and I'm
guessing is a walk-on.

College Sports Madness (whatever that is) has us as the #100
team in the country and tops in America East.

Highly optimistic and highly questionable. That guy wrote almost
every preview and surely just combed all these athletic sites
and churned these things out. I don't even know if CSM pays its
writers. Valiant effort though.
Our 2015-16 team ended up at 94 according to KenPom, and I don't
see any NBA guys on this team. Although I do like us on the
surface.

Cool video from Weber's Twitter feed.

Boy could we use this. I'm really hoping that Jenkins is the guy
who can get the defense to collapse and give people open looks
from out there. It's been a rarity in the Ford era.

He can shoot needs some better looks in game. I really hope this
team has more spacing because i think this team has shooters and
guys who can get to the rim.

The Seawolves have just received a commitment from '22 C Rocco
Muratori from W. Lafayette, IN. He's 7'4" tall!! Anyhow,
although he doesn't look all that polished at this point, he
clearly has potential. Once the training staff gets hold of
him--WHO KNOWS?? Anyhow, as they say, "You can't teach7'4"".

We're the favorites going into the season. I dunno about that.

It's startling to see Albany seventh, but they're in a
transition phase for sure. I also think that teams like UNH,
Hartford, UMBC and Lowell have rightfully put their names in the
mix for the AE's upper echelon.
Olaniyi was named preseason all-conference. I don't know why
they put six people on there, unless there was a tie.

Being picked preseason #1 is great, for sure, but to be honest,
I've been enjoying seeing Stony Brook predicted to be everywhere
from second to fifth. I know most of those aren't really
well-informed, but still, when I read them, I feel like Inigo
Montoya when he says, "I know something you don't know."
