Well, we had no problem beating a defenseless Colgate yesterday,
let’s get out of Oregon uninjured and snag a few wins in the
CAA.

If we lose by less than five touchdowns that's a win. Better yet
if we can exit the first quarter with the game within reach.
What I absolutely don't want to see is everyone checking the
scores Sunday morning and seeing SBU got blown out 77-0. That
would be a total embarrassment even against a top 5 FBS team.
Keep in mind we are still a Division 1 program with scholarship
athletes. If this were our 2017 or even 2018 team I'd feel
better about not losing by 40+, but with how Coach P has been
lately? Forget it.

id love to be positive here... because that's how upsets happen-
no one sees them coming.
maybe we catch them overlooking us.
but i think the athleticism of the PAC does us in. let's make
some good plays and gain respect. GO SB

I have been pounding my fist on the table with disgust for years
now about playing one P5 game a year and get our doors blown
off. Why can't SBU play two G5 teams and only lose gracefully,
or possibly win one? The answer is all about SBU trying to make
the playoffs. With two losses on their docket, it makes it
harder to make the FCS playoffs. My answer to that is. This
program will never make the playoffs again under coach P and
company. Might as well play teams like Buffalo, Toledo, UCONN,
Umass, etc..

Money, money, money. Shawn Heilbron and Rob Emmerich are
pathetic at raising money. And, it's actually their job! It's
about the $ they will get from Oregon.

We as fans need to organize a riot and a backlash against these
awful administrators. They are too comfortable. They need to
know that their performance over the last five years has been
absolutely unacceptable. We need to make them feel as if their
jobs and livelihoods are in immediate danger.

I actually don't mind playing P5 teams, but they need to be the
historically more middle of the road P5 programs. Some of these
programs are having a resurgence, but I wouldn't mind playing
Vandy, Indiana, Rutgers, Kentucky, Kansas, Wake Forest,
Washington State, etc. Those games get us the paycheck and give
us a chance if we have one of our better teams.
This Oregon game though is just a full on bodybag game though.

The only way to do that is to not go to the games and to not pay
to watch them on TV or your computer.

I feel bad for the boys this upcoming week. It must suck to know
you are gonna get a massive beat down. I agree we shouldn't be
playing top ranked P5 teams. Why not play a Kansas, Indiana, or
even Syracuse?

Rutgers is a two hour drive, and could probably pay SBU like
$300,000 and not bat an eyelash.
