one thousand percent right on. the N$AA is largely to blame
too. they've blown up their own cash cow in search of a more
lucrative cow.

Big Saturday on deck for SBU as 20 HS Football Teams will
compete in their 7 on 7 Tournament and while that is going on
those same teams linemen for both offense and defense will be
working out with the SBU OL/DL Coaches. Then a very large group
of HS Football Players from all over the East Coast will attend
the last Prospect Camp,
On Monday the 2021 Fall season officially begins as all players
report
SBU will have a brand new DL Coach who should finally be
announced shortly and he is a good one. The announcement is slow
because of NYS way of hiring

I wanted to pass on a few things;
It’s now a mere formality but former LIU HC will be the new DL
for SBU he was there HC for 23 years he will recruit 47 LI HS as
well as Queens and Staten Island
Matt Hachmann the LB Coach will also be the Special Teams Coach
Today’s 7 on 7 and Prospect Camp was very successful as it could
yield as many as 12 future Seawolves either as Scholarship or
PWO
Cardinal Hayes won the 7 on 7
Attendance at home games which has been a disaster has gotten a
lot of attention and SBU is making a concerted effort to get the
student population so we will just have to wait until the season
begins to see what they are planning to do

WOW!!! I am shocked Collins is taking a step backward to DL
coach. The only thing I think of is he is tired and doesn't want
the responsibility of being an HC someplace else. Or, Collins
just wants to stay close to Long Island. Either way, I think it
is a win, win for SBU.
The question is. Can he recruit D1 talent? Not D2 or D3!!

Is this athletic administration or university administration?
Because it would mean a lot more if the new prez actually got
her hands dirty with this.

SH has been here for 7 years. The stadium tailgate lot is less
than half full. Hes had 7 years to get students to games and has
failed. Same with season tickets for basketball. Athletic
adminsitration staff is inexperienced and out of touch. Have
been.
