How do you have Policelli, and not Habwe, out there for that
final possession? That one’s on Geno (again). Just a horrible
loss. Mo fouls did us in. We need a PG that isn’t a TO machine.
Tough team to watch.

SEVEN turnovers from JRod. Traci Carter’s a candidate for DPOY
but that’s still a big number. The last one on the poor entry
pass from TSM was just brutal.
Pretty bad to lose at home when the other team shoots 3 for 26
from deep, and you’re +15 on the glass. Two of the threes were
clutch though – Stafl to beat the shot clock and Marks (of
course) from up top, pulling Hartford even after they trailed
55-49.
Policelli really scuffling. 4 for 31 from deep in the last six.
This one stings just like the first UNH game - comfortably in
front and then we just give it away. I do think Hartford is a
really solid group, as is UNH, but another missed opportunity.

This is just an absolutely inexcusable game to lose. I'm
beyond angry. The other team shoots 3-for-26 from three, you
beat them +14 on rebounds, and you still fucking lose that shit?
Not to mention being UP BY SIX with 2:40 to go!!!!!!

Yes, it's beyond inconceivable that we lost this one. We
lose so much defensively when Mo repeatedly gets in foul
trouble. Jrod way too much dribbling, and after making great
drive to the basket, makes inexcusable TO's. I would feed
the ball to Sayles and Mo and Greene down low, over and over and
over again, with an occasional kick-out. We have no outside
shooters on this team that are good, but JRod, Greene, and Habwe
are the best we have. Policelli needs to just stop shooting
30-footers; I'm sure he's a great practice shooter, but
the kid needs to limit his shooting to 15 feet out max. Mo,
stop shooting 3's. If I were coach, I'd be sitting guys
down every time they take a BAD shot, so that they learn. Geno
is clearly complicit in this dreadful offense.

I thought when Mo made that miracle three to go up 53-47, the
game was in our hands. There was no way we could possibly blow
it, up by 6, under three to go, with Hartford shooting as poorly
as they were today, no way that losing was even in my head.

Jrod needs to turn the ball over a lot less and part of that is
getting it out his hands earlier.

well now that its clear we are a middling team in the arguably
weakest bball conference...
i guess it all gets undone if we win in the tourney. the
opposite of what weve done in the past. GO SB

Weirdly since the league is so bad we wont be out of the picture
regardless of what the record is. Anybody can beat anybody on
any day
