       What a crappy league.
Tournament championship given to NJIT due to rain.
Apparently NJIT refused to play even though it wasn't raining at
       the time

I just blasted Amy on Twitter amd told SH the time to leave is
now. Total horsehit. And you winder why SB cant get top athletes
       to come and play here.

I'm just as pissed also. Woke up hoping to watch the
double-header at some point today... and all I read is a dumb
       cancellation.
I went ahead and blasted the leagues facebook page also. This
crap is completely unfair. F*ck - Find an indoor field or
something. Make it f'cking work but don't let it go down to a
damn cancellation when all these players worked so hard all year
round after a covid19 pandemic to be here.
They had bases loaded in the bottom of the 3rd inning with one
out - they were gonna break the game open and NJIT decides to
come off the field then... not even finish the inning.
Poor sportsmanship all around from NJIT program and also a very
crappy league that supports this kind of crap.
If you get off the field - It's a FORFEIT!

Yup. And the last time I checked, it gets dark around 8;00 pm
this time of year. Why couldn't they give it more tine? The AE
conference is a dumpster fire, and a joke. I reminded Amy of
that. If SB doesnt leave this conference, then they deserve all
bad that dishes out to them.

Boy that really sucks! Just read the Newsday article. What a
way to lose a chance to get to the Tournament. They would have
had a chance to play last night, if Nathan Field had lights,
since they had til midnight to complete. The OF probably was
water-logged, but still, getting some lights for the field,
should definitely be the second order of business. 1st order of
business, is to change the rules to change the venue, if
       horrible weather is forecast.

Terrible way for the season to end. Shame on the America East
for this decision. At the same time, the baseball field should
have lights. Maybe it’s time to get Joe Nathan on the phone and
ask him for mo money to help make it happen.

Maybe it really is time to leave the AE.
The Commish should resign after this debacle.

Shawn Heilbron has got to go. Again, he's just all talk and no
       substance. Here's an article from 2017 -- yes, 2017!!!! -- where
he brought up the pressing need to upgrade Joe Nathan Field.
  HTML https://www.sbstatesman.com/2017/04/02/heilbron-discusses-plans-for-joe-nathan-field-upgrades/
"Heilbron does think it is necessary to have 1,500 to 2,000
seats surrounding Joe Nathan Field. The current facility has
bleachers that accommodate 1,000 people, according to Stony
Brook Athletics. They cannot host night games, because they do
not have lights, and the current bathroom facility at the field
is a row of porta potties.
He made his intentions clear that the baseball-softball complex
is the next most pressing need on his agenda, now that
construction for a new indoor practice facility that will allow
all Stony Brook intercollegiate athletic teams to practice all
       year long is under way."
What happened to that idea, Heilbron, you useless hack? Four
years ago and nothing has come out of it. F**king deadweight.

Want to know why? Because of money. SH told me he is fighting an
uphill battle with NYS and boosters to raise serious money for
improvements. If SBU were a private institution, I could see
them being FBS already. Yes, SH is to blame, but so is Scumbag
       Cuomo..

I don’t think Stony Brook is really on anyone’s radar in Albany,
       let alone the Governor’s.
