Agreed. Too many 3’s out of rhythm.

we all knew we had the talent- it's putting it together, and we
are getting closer. JFR looked like an ACC point guard for most
of today (though sometimes inefficient). sayles is a 5 that can
sink jumpers. greene is physical a guard that dunks and
rebounds. jmac played great. LES is becoming our 6th man.
habwe is starting and we win when he does.
negatives- foul trouble, foul shooting, outrebounded, poor shot
selection at times. but overall i think we'd all take 4-0 and
       first place at this point.
to me its clear that noel is a first teamer. he is incredible.

Nice start at 4-0. Not a great game today, but we got it done,
by spreading the wealth. The FT shooting though must improve.
Watching some of the other games today, and there’s lots of
parity. Bing over Umbc, unh over Hartford, njit over uvm. No
real dominant team this year it appears. Maybe we have a shot
       this year.

League is wide open. A sweep in this umbc series would be
       massive.

It took 4 years for that to happen. Now maybe Alex Christie can
score a few points this year as well.

Wow, swinging for the fences much? Guess it's time to play the
       lottery.

Missed all but a couple minutes of the games unfortunately. I'll
see if I can zip through one or both tonight.
What a surprise being here at 4-0. And to be two up on Vermont
already? Very much unexpected. Vermont hasn't lost more than two
conference games since the 2015-16 season so for them to have to
run the table to keep that streak going, wow. Smith seems like a
good Robin but just a so-so Batman.
Pretty interesting stat line for us ... we're shooting 45
percent as a team and even better than that in conference play.
We haven't been over 45 percent as a team since Warney left ...
all 41s and 42s. The reason? @CoB, you want to take this one?
Fewer threes! It really comes down to personnel. Like we did
with Jameel, McGrew, even the non-threes Ty, we have guys who
can operate inside, and a point guard who has the ability to
distribute. And you also see the results at the line, with us
shooting 60 more free throws than the bad guys. Of course,
converting them hasn't been easy, and the late fouls down the
stretch in victory pad those numbers, but it's a good sign that
we're drawing contact and making the opposition shuffle guys in
       and out.

Looks like we're off now for a couple of weeks. Might kill our
mojo a bit, but will allow those who are football fans to watch
       those games unfettered:

thanks for the research- i think it comes down to selfishness.
if we move the ball, we get better shots. then the threes fall.
but im not telling you guys anything you didnt learn in CYO or
PAL. this is 3rd grade level bball.
we penetrate, and take higher % shots this year. we take less
threes. when we do shoot them, they are less often in traffic
or rushed. if we move the ball inside/out, the shot should be
more open and we control the shot clock. last year (and for
years before that), we didnt do that. it was chuck and pray.
and we lost any game of importance because of it.
AE coaches knew. play SB, they'll spot you 20 free possessions
on missed three pointers. no wonder we lost EVERY elimination
game that mattered, except one. one that we attempted 15
       threes, and warney scored 43 points with one hand.  teamwork;
not selfishness. and high % shots.
threes are a tool; not a strategy. when it was our strategy, we
       lost.
