have seen them on video but it sounded like they were midrange
jumpers. Over and over again. You’re a thin armed 6’9 big man,
quit it with that. 11 misses. Yeah, That was the game there.

For some bizarre reason he took two 3's - I don't even know why
he wandered out that high on offense - and a few other ill
advised shots. At the same time I can't fault his rebounding
(10) , speed/hustle (he does not move like a typical 6'9 mid
major guy and he's got a motor), nice blocked shots (2), good
passes, helping out on D, and some good cuts to the basket.
Sounds stupid but take away about 5 of his shots and I thought
he played a very good game (I watched all of it).
Maybe somebody should tell Mo to only take bankshots (10 feet
out or less), layups, and dunks one game just as an experiment
(he'd easily score over 20 and miss just a couple).

Yeah I have no complaints about Gueye’s defensive work. He still
got a double double. But most of those shots he should not be
taking.
JFR throwing up a goose egg is also something I’d have to see
the video to understand why.

I'd love to know what Gueye looks like offensively with his back
to the basket. With his length and athleticism, he has such an
advantage on the smaller interiors that he'll see in the AE. But
because we've never seen it, I suspect that just isn't his
thing.
Just a big fan of Greene. I don't recall him having this kind of
effect on a game at Manhattan, but now see he averaged almost
five boards as a sophomore. Can shoot it a bit, mixes it up
inside, does the dirty work – glad we have him.

like i was saying last week- gueye is really a tall 3, on
offense. defensively he fits in the paint. if he starts taking
a lot of perimeter shots, recall the sturdivant experiment from
a few years ago...
so to me, gueye is just a question of using him right. we
shoulda figured that out last year (or even the year before),
but the supporting cast is all new, so that's understandable.
the bottom half of the bench quietly had some foul trouble.
