Bad day to have an off night hopefully he picks it up in the
second half. But i love how Gueye is playing and Jrod.

steals are killing us. SJU press is intense. the traps make it
dangerous to pick up your dribble.
make that another missed 3 that went the other way for a 3. 30-2
run

Brutal i know it was a ugly loss. But for some reason i still
have hope for this team. They have good spurts just need to put
it together for 40 minutes. This team can compete in the America
East i truly believe that.

At 4:37 remaining in the first half, with Stony Brook up 33-27,
ESPN had St. Johns win probability at it's lowest for the entire
game, 58.8%. By the end of the half it was 96.9%

I agree. The half-court offense looked pretty good in the first
half and created more easy looks (against a very good defense)
then I saw all of last year. Call me silly, call me nutsy
(reference anyone?) but I think SB will be competitive in the
AE.

no youre right. we penetrate more and do less ball-watching.
and, so we stretch defenses and create opportunities. ironic
that we had to pile up talent and lose it to find that out.
when you consider how good this SJU team is- the pace of play,
the intensity- we did great for most of the game.
