Is it me, or is this broadcast terrible all around. Shotty
camera work, the color commentator isn't good at all, the score
bug doesn't have the right score most of the time, zero time for
game or shot clock.

adjust for opponent-
defense is improved; on ball, off ball, EMD. cassidy times
slides well. palma saved pretty much all he was asked to, is
mobile out of the crease, good outlets. EMD is ronan and lowd,
lowd ran some LSM. our defense is TALL. hebert got on, note we
have 2 lefty goalies (rare?). clearing looks midseason in feb.
offense stole the show but great game from o'leary. morschauser
did a lot too in his debut.
faceoffs (conlon/desky) were perfect in Q1 and Q3 (14-0!), and
created a lot of breaks. burns came on late.
palonnetti can play both hands, didnt need to. note 11/12 SOG.
demeo has a rocket, is on EMO, and has 1 more year eligibility.
kaschalk ran mid. mccannell is a new level of multi-tooled. is
grippe hurt?
we have 6 middies that run the first two lines. it's a good day
when you score 20 and pearson doesnt even crack the boxscore.
40/55 SOG; clears 23/26; 23/30 FO, EMD 5/5
minor negatives- we forced some shots when up big, also forced
some low angle shots. didnt love the 4G run we gave up, but the
game was already over well before that, and we answered quickly.
Bryant first, but Cuse on 3/12 will be a real test. GO SB

DI Roundup: OT is Back With St. John's, Towson Victories; Stony
Brook, Duke Explosive

Maryland transfer Dylan Pallonetti stole the show with six goals
and an assist to lead Stony Brook’s explosive win. Pallonetti
scored in a variety of ways, as no matter if it was off the
catch or on the dodge, the lefty sniper gave the goalies
headaches all day as 11 of his 12 shots were on target. An 8-0
run from the Seawolves put the game out of reach with just under
nine minutes left in the second frame, giving Stony Brook a 9-1
advantage. Sacred Heart tried to comeback with four-straight
scores of their own to cut the deficit back down to eight before
Pallonetti and Co. pulled away.
PALLONETTI’S SIX GOALS FUEL STONY BROOK BLOWOUT
After not seeing any game action while at the University of
Maryland last spring, Dylan Pallonetti’s college debut couldn’t
have gone better. The Ward Melville grad who won two state
championships with the Patriots, where he was a four-year letter
winner and the program’s fifth all-time leading scorer,
continued his winning ways back home at Stony Brook.
The redshirt-freshman attackman scored six goals and added an
assist in a 20-8 win over Sacred Heart at Kenneth P. LaValle
Stadium.
"Our goal is to get the best players on Long Island and in the
country to become Seawolves," Stony Brook head coach Anthony
Gilardi said after Pallonetti’s transfer was announced last May.
"By adding Dylan, we are doing just that."
The team’s other notable addition, grad transfer Matt DeMeo
(three goals), joined the Seawolves in the fall after setting
career marks in goals and points at Maritime.
Senior attackman Cory VanGinhoven also tallied three goals and
added three assists.
Very exciting start to the season. I thought the team would be
good without Palonetti and Demeo. There are a lot of weapons
here and it's going to be fun to watch.

Dylan Pallonetti, Attack, Stony Brook
Perhaps nobody has had a better debut this season than redshirt
freshman Maryland transfer Dylan Pallonetti on Saturday in Stony
Brook’s dominating 20-8 victory over Sacred Heart. Pallonetti
ended the game with six goals and one assist for seven points in
his Seawolves debut. His six goals are the program record for
goals in a collegiate debut.
