cuse is a good team- so if we're going to pull the upset,
faceoffs will have to be dominant. vermont did it. and now

not a great day as there was some sloppiness (failed clears, not
backing up shots, trail checks). we had butterflies early on,
and then oddly again at the beginning of the 2nd half.
we shot into the goalie's stick a lot. got torched on inverts
(cuse is good at those). offense went silent at times and we
lost too many faceoffs/GBs early.
early on, and also late, we slid early and rotated well. not
sure why we didnt in the middle quarters.
credit to gilardi and staff for getting all three goalies in,
and it looks like he got the upstate guys on the field.
the positives- some great saves (daly and hebert too), some
great scores (CVG, pal). o'leary played great. rides (cassidy
3 CT). morschauser is coming into form. mcmahon obviously
should be trusted with the ball. grippe is back. only 9 TOs
against a top team. 1v1 defense was solid (lowd, sabella).
this is good experience for the squad. GO SB
