Marshall Futrell, an Iona Prep Guard/Tackle who had previously
committed as a PWO to SBU, decommited today and announced he's
heading to UNC Charlotte.

It also looks like Dante Antoine another top PWO and a walk on
from St Anthony’s will now go elsewhere

I did see that on Twitter, but why? Where does he live and why
would he want to study at SBU!!!

He has one year of eligibility left so he gets grad school paid

He chose SBU over a few other FCS schools, including Southern
Illinois, Robert Morris, and Eastern Kentucky. Probably chose
SBU for a good, free master's degree like Campi suggested.
Certainly ranks higher than those schools.

Some of the previous 2021 walk on commitments have decided to go
elsewhere among them is Liam McIntyre was coming until Lehigh
had a full scholarship to give him.
SBU however did get another LIU transfer in big TE/DE Damien
McCaffrey

God forbid if Stony Brook football makes any kind of
announcements with their current transfer status? I follow a ton
of FCS schools all around the great land of ours, and I see on a
daily basis school making announcements about who's coming in
and from where. You never, ever see that with SB football. They
always have and always will keep their fans, and more
importantly their season ticket holders in the dark. And you
wonder why SB athletics is falling back into the dark ages.
Somebody needs to look into the mirror over there and make some
changes. Good thing for social media these days where I get
updates from sites like yourself and others..
