Fields has already been announced as a Captain for next season.
He and Anthony Catapano are the only returning captains. Would
be beyond awkward for him if they landed the transfer QB, who
definitely wants to start right away.

So what if Fields feels awkward. Welcome to D1 football. This
institution is falling behind its peers when it comes to
football. All of that falls on the HC, midget man. Coach P. This
school needs a stud of a QB who can do it all. I haven't seen
that since Kyle Essington was QB at SB..

My thoughts exactly, but it would look terrible for Chuck, in

Is it even possible for Chuck to look even worse? F that guy. We
ain't winnin shit with Tyquell "can't throw for over 150 yards
in a game" Fields. You know what makes a locker room bad to be
in? Continually losing because your team is garbage!

Transfer QBs show up and knock out incumbent QBs in D1 all the
time. Just look at Jurkovec going from Notre Dame to BC and
displacing incumbent starter Grosel (and further burying
Valecce...who is now in the portal). Agree the captaincy is a
complication... but one a good coach ought to be able to
finesse (and a lesson learned about when to vote on captains
BTW).

Why would a good, shotgun-slinging QB want to play for SB? As
long as this coach continues to call the shots nobody worth
talking about will ever want to ply for SB. Sadly, SH must know
this by now but refuses to take action. I still think it is
because SBU is really pressed for cash and can't afford to spend
money to do a national search.

Former Westhampton player Liam McIntyre who left LIU has
officially signed with SBU. I can see him in the same role as
Angie Contressa

Do we know why Liam transferred out of LIU? I am assuming, he
still has 2 to 3 years of eligibility left.

He has 3 years of eligibility and I believe he wasn’t happy with
the direction of the LIU Program but not 100% sure
