SBU also added WR Dylan Uzzle of Curtis HS who originally
committed to Army but decided military life wasn’t for him and
has 4 years of eligibility

You really cant compare Baylor transfers to SB transfers. Baylor
is still getting the cream of the crop pics, whereas SB is still
getting lower mid-major players.

Brian Abosi an OT grad transfer from UMASS will joining SBU for
the Fall he’s 6’8 335 pounds and started every game last Fall

Not sure what thread to put this in but BC’s QB Matt Valecce
just hit the portal. He’s a Fordham Prep guy who’s been buried
on the depth chart for 3 years.
Even though he’s a grad transfer, he has 3 (!) years of
eligibility.
Maybe he’d like to play near home?

God forbid SB lands a stud of a QB. This school is so desperate
for a real QB to finally play here. I just dont think he will.
The word is out that coach P is a $hitty coach and a throwing QB
will only fall into the abyss playing for SB.

Fields has already been announced as a Captain for next season.
He and Anthony Catapano are the only returning captains. Would
be beyond awkward for him if they landed the transfer QB, who
definitely wants to start right away.
