I really cant see how SBU can change a contract once signed. It
is what it is. I feel bad for the seniors who had a shot at the
title, regardless of what sport they play.

I do get it from the conference perspective, but this is just
rotten. I really really feel for the women—totally snakebitten.
Instead of going to three NCAA tournaments, they'll have gone to
one.
Our hoops teams are now just playing out the string, and the
spring teams have just the regular season to look forward to.

Typical bush league BS from these low major conferences.
All the more reason to validate our desire to leave. Yes, yes,
enjoy replacing SBU with Southern New Hampshire, Merrimack, and
Bentley lmao. ;D

You think about the way that our guys have contributed in higher
conferences – Olaniyi in the ACC, Garcia in the SEC and MAC,
Foreman in the Pac-10 somehow – and I have no doubt that our
core guys be just fine in the CAA next year. But I think we
shouldn't be happy with mediocrity, but it's pretty likely when
you think about it. How do we feel about 12-20 or 14-18? Could
happen. BU went 24-11 in its first year in the Patriot League,
although I think all of us would consider that to be more of a
lateral move than the one we're making.

We'll be fine. The average CAA team is better than the average
AE team, but think Vermont is the overall strongest team/program
in either conference right now. Not having to go through them
anymore probably makes our odds of making the tournament next
year better.
