SB plays with tremendous effort, but they are incapable of
creating good looks on offense. Everything is either a contested
layup in traffic or a three (and I'm sorry SB is not a good
three point shooting team...check their numbers in conference
play.) That said, it's the equivalent of hitting on 15 in
blackjack...you may have your brief runs but it's unsustainable.

Geno Ford is not a good coach, sorry to say.

yep. we lose again. it's ok though because i knew it was
coming, and im used to it!
and it's not just the %. it's the lack of passing, the off
balance, contested, poorly timed threes, from beyond NBA range.
       greed and selfishness.
the three pointer is a tool; not a strategy.
i wouldnt even want to get invited to the CBI/NIT.

We brought a bunch of guys back this year and it didn't seem to
       do us much good.
Next year, if Ford delivers anything less than winning the
America East and making the NCAA Tournament he needs to be fired
on the spot immediately. We ought to be the overwhelming
       favorites next year.

Geno Ford sucks. He blew this game. How can 2 teams shoot over
       50% from the 3s

but but but, we take a lot of threes! record breaking!
i'd be awaiting the NCAA invitation based on that alone

Hopefully for his sake, Garcia won't come back. And even with
Garcia they are an offensively challenged team.
My end of season suggestions...much less time in the weight room
and much more time working on ball handling, passing and
       receiving passes.
Also I agree with an earlier post, this team doesn't deserve a
post season tournament, even a minor one. Really only two good
       wins all year.

well here are some season ending (do we get a post-season
       invitation?) thoughts...
-it's better than the first round bingo loss (right?)
-we simply don't pass the ball (14-5 assists? that's consistent
       with the entire season)
-what good are all these 20 win seasons if we almost never win
       in the tournament
       otherwise:
-vermont wins, but BC gave a fight
-certainly a lot of charging calls tonight; gueye played well,
latimer on d, garcia decent all around; lots of steals tonight
-we never talk about it but i think pav/wincott are very good at
       broadcasting
-checkie, as always, your content is so good i'd pay for it
       GO SB

Disappointing loss after we stormed back. Had the lead with 3
minutes left and couldn’t close out. Our defense was solid:
gotta give credit to the Hartford kids who hit the 3’s (Marx in
particular). Geno should have worked the ball to Mo and Garcia
very time down. We are definitely offensively challenged. I hope
Garcia returns and doesn’t get any ideas of transferring.
Gallagher handed it to us on a silver platter with his T, but we
couldn’t put them away. We took out Ellison and still couldn’t
       win.

We shot 17 threes, one more than our season low. How many should
       we take? 10? 5?
We just didn't make enough big shots, period. We're up 52-51
with four minutes to go and then this sequence: Olaniyi missed
layup, Olaniyi miss from four feet on the inbounds, Foreman
missed layup, Marks three, Olaniyi missed layup, Foreman missed
layup, Marks three. Three-and-a-half minutes with your season on
the line and no points. That's your ball game.
It sure was exciting to climb back into it. The place was
rocking. And I'm proud of the community for showing up amid all
the fears. But I thought Gallagher and Carter put on a clinic.
Sooooo many cutters who got easy looks for Hartford as a result
of a free-flowing offense, and Carter worked magic with the pick
and pop/roll. Re: Gallagher, even the technical foul swung the
momentum in their favor. Fouls were 9-1 at that point, and then
the zebras were looking for every opportunity to blow the
whistle on us. It all evened out.
Australian guys were 11 for 16 from three against us the last
two games. Where can we get one of them? They got nice
production from Mitchell and Dunne off the bench too. On the
other hand, we had four – count em FOUR – scorers, this after
having five guys in double figures on Saturday.
Underrated headline: Ellison and Marks playing the last 8-10
minutes with four fouls apiece. We tried to flop to draw their
fifth rather than attacking them specifically. We did go to the
rim a lot. In fact, the three threes we did make weren't within
the flow of offense at all. We didn't have much flow. Pretty
much just guys attempting to take their defender off the dribble
       and draw contact.
I'm sure we'll get a CIT or CBI invite. That's if the
tournaments are even held with this corona virus craze. And who
       knows if we even accept?
Looking past the postseason to 2020-21 ... does Christie return?
Does Garcia? Does Foreman? My guess, with no inside knowledge at
all, is no, no, yes. Never know with Chef and Mac either.
There's pretty much no path to additional playing time.
