Baron, since you're a student, spread the word early to people
on campus, if you can.

Students get in for free with their ID so I don’t think it
should affect them

Right, forgot about that. Are you getting kicked off campus
after Friday, due to the online policy implemented today prior
to your Spring break, or do you have the option to remain on
campus?

Rumors are all classes are moving online, school has not made
official announcement yet
The student newspaper put out an article after compiling a bunch
of emails to staff that they got their hands on, though

I gotta say... I'm glad I'm not a student on campus in the
middle of this beervirus stuff.

Why? There hasn't been a single report about the virus being
inside the school. This is getting out of control and mass
hysteria is beginning to happen. People are running away from
their own shadows. Stupid. Coumo will and is running with this
Coronavirus thing for his own, liberal agenda. This needs to
stop. Unless of course the libs dont want it to stop!!!
On long Island, schools are shutting their doors because of
rumors of someone they know, who is friends with a janitor,
second cousin, sister in law might be coughing. This crap is
putting fear in people's lives. WHY THE HELL IS STONY BROOK
STOPPING TICKET SALES AT 12;00 TODAY?? and no ticket sales will
be permitted inside the ticket booth. WTF?? I hope only a few
hundred people show up at the game tonight. I'll be there with
some friends, and I'll be shaking people's hands as usual..

I won't drag politics into this, but I have to say that the
Statesman article was poorly crafted, and sends mixed messages.
We're going online as of 3/23, but the University hasn't made
the official determination yet? How could the Statesman put
out an article like that if the University isn't sanctioning it?
Also, a half-baked decision by the University with the games
this week. Stopping ticket sales at 12 PM, but still allowing
fans to the game? Your allowing classes in lecture halls this
week, but limiting fans to games? Do you know how angry people
will be when they can't get tickets at the door, and there are
people inside the arena watching the game already? I feel sorry
for the Men's and Women's teams, who both have their biggest
games of the season this week. Sounds like the University
desperately needs the Stanley replacement to help make
definitive decisions. I recognize that these decisions are very
tough to make, but you can't have your cake and eat it to.

I didn't want to drag politics into this conversation, but
clearly this is exactly what is going on, and it sickens me,
literally..
