What a mess . They couldnt do anything right . They need to
stop with the 3s even our announcers couldnt understand it just
chucking away .

Cup half full - I think Foreman made his first 3 three point
shots. Half empty - the team then went 0-24 the rest of the
way. I don't see how having no seniors and bringing everyone
back next year is in any way a positive.

That puts it in perspective even more. We finished 4-26. I
think Foreman was 3 for his first 4, so 0-22 the rest of the
way. We miss Elijah (and we miss Akwasi). Clearly, our worst
offensive performance of the year, and clearly Geno's worst
coached game of the year. Why didn't he play the foul game at
the end (they are 2nd worst in AE in free throwing shooting, and
we had 3, 1-and-1's to give), rather than let Hartford use the
entire 30 second clock? Why did he let the guys continue to
chuck 3's, when Garcia was finally effective at driving to the
hole? Also, his substitutions were suspect tonight. Haven't
heard the presser yet, but it cannot be a good scene.
With it all, we still control our own destiny, but winning 2 on
the road will not be easy, especially with the log jam behind
us, and teams fighting for playoff position. Very disappointing
tonight.

In conference play SB is ranked 7th in FG% (39%- worse than last
year), 8th in 3pt% (29%- worse than last year) and last in
turnovers per game (14-about the same). just saying.

This is pathetic. This program is falling apart under Geno.
Nevermind the women's team losing to a winless Hartford, so now
SBU will be all over sports media and not in a good way.
Hartford was the only winless basketball program in all of D1
for both men AND women. What an awful night all around....

ESPN sent out a notification about the Hartford women. I hate
how they frame it as a feel good story. It is humiliation! FUCK
YOU! 25-2 should beat 0-28 by 30 points!!!! How in gods name did
representatives of our school embarrass us so badly?!!??

Losing to the worst team in D1 will surely screw the SB girls
seeding IF they make it to the NCAA, a 15 or 16 seed is
inevitable now..
