We win inspite of ourselves and Vermont lost at home to UMBC.
Still in 2nd place. Ugly win this team needs to take a deep
breath and figure things out.

In the presser, Ford said that Elijah hasn’t come close to
practicing. And that he doesn’t expect Gueye’s injury is
serious, having just reaggravated a prior injury.

I saw some tweets about it from someone who calls himself the
Stony Brook beat reporter saying the same thing. Wasn’t sure if
to trust him or not.

Based on this game, recent games across the AE, the standings at
the moment....I'd say the conference race for the one NCAA bid
is as wide open as maybe I've ever seen it. Feels like the AE
could have 4 or 5 teams end up about 8-8 by the end of this
thing. Even Maine and Bing have to be thinking, "Hey, with a hot
streak even we have a shot at dancing this year."

Ugly game tonight, but a win is a win. 4-28 from 3 (in case CoB
asks). The shooting was atrocious on both sides. Mo played
great, and as Checkmate's link stated, looks like we dodged a
bullet, and he'll be back without missing time. Heard reliable
rumor from coaching staff after the Vermont game, that Elijah is
being targeted for next Sat at Albany. Ford didn't sound as
optimistic in the press conference. If we can beat Hartford on
Wed, that may give the option of sitting Elijah out even
further. Hope we can get him back for the Tournament. Big
defense from Jeff down the stretch, with 4 blocks. Makale
played a much more controlled, PG-like game IMO. Miles hitting
double digits tonight was a big help too.
What a log jam in the middle of the AE conference. UMBC
currently the hottest team in the league.

A win is a win. Shocking UMBC took down Vermont. Really is
anyone's tournament to win.

High five to Lenny Kadisha, who was credited with a minute and
is now "One-Point-A-Minute-Kadisha." Give him 30 and see what he
can do.
Better yet, with his wide Garcia-like body, seems like a player
who might be able to bang and cause some disruption in certain
situations. He gets five fouls too, might as well use 'em.

Lenny has been on the team all year. He is a Jr transfer from
Monroe CC. I think yesterday was his 3rd game of the year and he
now has 3 points. Anyone remember Lenny Hayes, the year we lost
to BU in the AE title game? He got a similar chance that year,
and almost single-handedly won that Championship game. Kadisha
could be our Lenny this year.
