then later, chef posted up and he used the mismatch to baby hook
for an easy 2. i'd give the chef more runs if he steps up in
       patrick like he did tonight.

Awesome dunk! Wonder if it'll make Top 10 on ESPN. Yeah, no
one feeds Big Jeff underneath unless he has a clear path to
hoop. His hands hurt him at times, and his post moves need
work. Still he's a force on Defense and on the board.
Stef Smith is a really good player and so is Shungu. But what
this team misses is Ernie D. His brothers aren't close in
talent to what he was. I think UVM misses Ernie a lot more than
       we miss Akwasi.

Unbelievably huge win. Well done by everyone. Foreman, Olanyi,
Gueye, everyone was playing well. One of the most entertaining
games I've seen us play too.

When you think about Pikiell's teams, it was built on defense
and toughness but it was never easy to score. I think we have
that kind of defensive commitment AND the horses to go up and
down offensively AND consistently knock down the deep ball. Our
single-season record for threes made is 250, and we're on pace
for well over 300 with this group.
Stef Smith made his case for the first team tonight, and so did
Elijah. 28 and 11 in their gym. He's having some year. I'd love
to know how he made the jump with his shooting. He's gone from
       below average to above average.
After seeing Gueye and Otchere get all this time in
non-conference play, it was pretty awesome to see Ford show his
confidence in Chef down the stretch. And the lefty jump hook in
crunch time! We definitely lack somebody who can regularly do it
with his back to the basket, and that was just one move, but
still, that was a big-time make.
Pikiell over Chambers and then Stony Brook over Vermont the next
night. Great catch, Salty. It was in the stars.
Interesting night in the AE. Hartford's been coming on, and they
chalked up a convincing win in Lowell today. They have a grad
transfer from Pitt averaging 16 and 11, and then three young
guys in double figures. And then we had Binghamton beating UMBC
with 20+ from Sessoms and this freshman Mills. And then UNH
stayed on its upward trajectory with a win. Very few nights off
       this year it seems.

Just saw it on Sportscenter guys. Gueye's dunk was the #5 play
of the night. Definitely get the word out to the Athletics
department so they advertise it as much as possible. Have to get
       all the attention you can!!

If Lamb tried to challenge the shot, he would have gotten
       obliterated. Saved some face.

Kenpom is a joke if they still have VT at 83 and SB at 125 when
       SB manhandled VT last night.

Lamb is projected as a Second round pick currently by Jonathan
Givony/Draft express of ESPN. He’s best in the business at this
stuff. 2020 draft is the weakest draft in the last 5 years. So
many question marks. No clear cut number 1 pick. Not a handful
of guys you can project as all stars. This is the draft where
any fringe pro can make a name for themselves.
