brilliant 2nd half from garcia- both sides of the ball, playing
with fouls too.
perfect FTs. nice trifecta in texas boys!
i cant help but to think this team would be more competitive if
they just took about ten less three pointers. we didnt take a
lot today (21), we shot them well today (9/21 is amazing)- but
we lost the 10 point lead- and then went down a few- because we
just kept shooting them from NBA range (with a lead), without
even attempting to press the boards. it's not like we don't
have penetrators. we just almost blew it down the stretch.
but found a way to win. GO SB

Impressive final 10 minutes. Garcia just dominated on inside.
Our man and help defense was stellar. I agree with CoB, cut down
on 3’s, although Mo stuck 2 big ones. Elijah with huge 1st half
made it possible for us. Elijah, Garcia, and Foreman are
definitely the leaders on this team. On negative side, Latimer
looks like he got banged up, big Jeff looks lost, and the rooks
(TSM and TPP)-well, they look like rooks.

And I was so encouraged after the Yale game – 28 minutes, no
fouls! Imagine 28 minutes a game with that guy roaming the
paint.
Since then though, 50 minutes across 4 Division I games, 1
point, 11 rebounds ... 13 fouls.
He plays a little loose, but as I said in a previous post, I
also feel like his reputation precedes him.
