I usually take Coach P side but not only was the play calling
bad but again we took bad penalties and are special teams gave
up too many yards. The other thing is we keep losing starters to
injuries.
The positives are the 2 RB’s again ran good but I was surprised
that Fields didn’t run and instead tried to force the pass
Next week is a bye week so we have time to regroup before we
play Villanova

Nothing to sugar coat here. This is a terrible conference loss
at home.
I'll admit, I barely watched this game, but at first glance I
wouldn't call this terrible. New Hampshire is a strong program
with a history of being good. They were on a 3 game win streak
coming into tonight. They ought to be ranked next week.
That said, the reason for this loss is likely typical Coach P
ineptitude and trash playcalling from the sound of things.

Fair analysis. But we have to win this game at home.

is it me or down the stretch- when we really needed to stop the
clock- we burned two TOs when the clock was stopped?
I only watched pieces of the end, but yeah, The 1st down play
with 2:50 left, unh was tackled out of bounds, the ref clearly
stopped the clock, and we burned a TO. What was that???

WHOEVER IS CALLING THE PLAYS NEED TO BE RELEASED FROM DUTY
IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLAY CALLING!!!! WE
RECRUITED ALOT OF TALENT THIS PAST RECRUITING CLASS AND YOU MEAN
TO TELL ME NOBODY IS READY ??

Get used to it. Coach P calls the shots on Offense. He sucks as
a coach and things will never change just as long as SB keeps
giving this guy contract extensions.

The more I think about it the more upset I get. That loss is
inexcusable. Facing an unranked UNH team at home —- should be an
automatic W, what the hell are we gonna do now when we play
Villanova and Towson? That Game is one we needed to win. They’re
literally one of our easiest opponents in the second half of the
schedule. There’s literally zero room for error now.

O.K. I think you guys have sufficiently (And correctly) covered
the importance of this loss, and I agree that the play-calling
was atrocious!! I'm still steaming over the series in UNH
territory where the Seawolves started with two running plays to
the short side of the field (in effect giving UNH the sideline
as another defender) and then ran up the middle on third
down--YIKES!! I'd like to see Fields use his running talents
more often: perhaps a few QB draws or some deception with a
boot-leg once in awhile. That said, I think Tyquell has earned
his stripes as a reliable accurate passer, and we should be
willing to take more advantage of that--not running into the
line when the box is stacked!!
On another topic: what the hell is going on with Isaiah White?
He seems to be healthy. He's been in on special teams for just
about every kickoff by the opponent for the past two games. and
has been running up and down the sidelines with some obvious
agility. Yet, after that initial play fumble against JMU he has
been MIA on offense. Is this Coach P's retribution for that
fumble??? If so, enough already; it's a bit overkill by now.
If not, than what????

Good summary sbugold. Unless they get to 8 wins with a win over
a top 10 team, I don’t see much playoff hope.

Kamara being out again hurt us. Can’t tell you how many times
the UNH RB rolled right pass the defensive line when Sam
normally would have stuffed him.
Fields has got to use the middle of the field more often, he’s
made a killing on the deep sideline ball but now I think other
teams are gameplanning for that and forcing him to roll right
and limit his field of vision like when Anderson was wide open
on the complete other side of the field but Fields was too
backed up to make a throw. Also on 4th and 2 Constant had enough
room to get the ball, but the throw was way off line. Not to
mention I personally would have run the ball in that situation.

Thought it was a very competitive game last night, it’s too bad
hardly anybody was there to watch it. I’m surprised to see no
mention of the lack of attendance. Does Stonybrook have no fan
base? A 6:00 Saturday night game, beautiful fall weather and a
nationally ranked Stonybrook team playing a 2-0 CAA New
Hampshire team. The announced attendance of 4,900 was obviously
inflated, couldn’t have been 3,000 people at the game. Pretty
embarrassing when you have a beautiful stadium and a really good
football program and nobody cares.
