3 years because hopefully there will be a new AD and new HC and
things will get back to being a program that embraces its fans
after GF is gone.

SH is a good AD. I just think he doesn't know, or his hands are
tied with handling a state institution like SB when it comes to
raising money. The problem SB, and other SUNY schools have is
Albany. Cuomo could care less about allocating funds for any
athlete's programs. He rather line the pockets of his special
interest groups who give millions to the Democratic campaigner.
more specific, his campaign.
It doesn't matter who the AD is for SB. If Cuomo gets reelected,
which is a very strong possibility again, SB will be very
limited in resources to fire coach P or GF and bring in a better
replacement.
[/quote]
SH is not a good adminsitrator. Look at what has happened in
that place since he has been here. He and RE cant raise any
money. That has nothing to do with the state. He had a 5 yr plan
to raise something like 100 million dollars. I dont think he
raised 10 percent of that. Someone said cuomo wouldnt give them
the money for the new practice bldg and i agree with that. Raise
the money yourself or hire someone who can. I can tell you they
wont get anohter nickel from me as long as those two are there.
GF is a blatant example of how bad he is at hiring. Read that
football story from last saturday. That guy he hired from the
newspaper is bad. Brian Miller was very nice and there was
always a game stroy.

It will only get harder and harder to raise money when a program
has hit rock bottom. SB is getting close to hitting rock bottom
in two of their most important sports. Football and Basketball.
I gave up my season tickets for both sports last year. Sadly, I
had a very large following of friends and family at their
football games. They are all gone now as well. If SB continues
to keep losing their fan base like this, this program will fall
back into the dark days. A change at the top needs to happen,
but it wont. This is not Clemson we are talking about.

Little low 3pt percentage and assist to turnovers is not great.

It feels like everybody else is bringing in these potential
impact recruits. Jared Kimbrough started some at La Salle and is
now going Hartford. Sloan Seymour from GW to UNH (third school;
we'll see what that means). Even Maine got a 7-1 kid from UL
Monroe.
There's still time. And we did get that type of kid in
Policelli. But I dunno, just feels like we're being passed over.

The words been out on GF for some time. Good kids wont play for
him. He'll get kids with few offers to fill his roster and rave
about getting them. He wont coach them and SBU will have a
crappy season again. That will happen two more times after that
until his contract is up. Seems like he could be a good
conartist.

Why the heavy emphasis on Juco prospects? Can we really not grab
any one else transferring from other d1s like we did with
Policelli, Greene,Habwe, Sayles
