yes, couldve easily lost this. are these live summaries
helpful?
looks like we shoot better. as usual, our SOG% is high. SJ was
the opposite tonight.
sabella played great, good poise. he chased down the ball- from
behind his man- to get an OT possession, which lead to the game
winner. also 3 CTs and 5 GBs, not bad for his first game.
the defense is rotating. we gave up too many looks but SJ
couldnt hit the cage. in any event, we can't let one middie (or
any position) take 17 shots.
faceoffs were up and down; we won draws but lost the GB. poor
start but bounced back.
as expected we've got 11 threats on offense. still i think we
need kaschalk on the field (crease) and white initiating. i
like pickel as a wing finisher and grippe in transition, but i
aint the coach. harrell has much less of a role so far.
pearson played great before the GWG.

Q1 and Q4 were very different than 2 and 3. there was some
sloppiness but fixable; it's early, and SJU is gritty. 20/23
clears is good for early feb.
20 TOs is too high.

beginning of Q1, feed came on late so i missed it but it was CVG
to pearson. 1-0 SB
mccannell drives the pipe, shot & save, kaschalk picks it up and
scores. 2-0 SB
pearson over the top to anderson, bulls into the low crease,
high to high. 3-0 SB
anderson drew a flag, SB EMO. mccannell up top, to white top
right, long bouncer. 4-0 SB
TO FU, Q1 1035
anderson up top, skips to pearson on the far pipe, slips under
and over, shoots top corner. 5-0 SB
beckwith inverts, goes to 5x5, inside roll and shoots. 5-1 SB
SB flag, FU EMO. reda at x, over the top to strough, long
bouncer. 5-2 SB
SB flag, conlon tripping. FU EMO, same play, reda over the top,
this time to beckwith from 14 yards. 5-3 SB

yard. 5-4 SB
FU flag, SB EMO. flag expires, but haun sweeps from x, turn at
GLE and bounce shot. 6-4 SB
haun, same play. 7-4 SB
armitage on. SB flag, during play on, beckwith drives lefty,
shoots from 12 yards, far pipe. 7-5 SB
FU EMO, conlon wins draw.
TO SB, Q2 837
flag expires. beckwith up top, sweeps lefty, shoots on the run.
7-6 SB
kaschalk drives, shoots & save, two rebounds, haun picks up and
shoots on the doorstep. 8-6 SB
TO FU, Q2 342
beckwith at x, over the top, moran steps into a high shot. 8-7
SB
white on the wing, drives pipe and bounces to the far pipe. 9-7
SB
