SHU throws it away, SB clear. king makes a save. SHU clear,
bolly makes a low inside save, SB clear.
TO SB, OT1 106
grippe inverts, to pearson, sweeps lefty, beats his man, sidearm
from 11 yards.
final OT 13-12 SB

riding and clearing was good tonight; SHU committed 24 TOs. we
looked great in the first stanza and then- not.
not a great night because we built and early lead and should've
put them away- in front of perhaps a different crowd (?). but
if we get past bryant on saturday, those pollsters will be
coming.
hart and BC win. bingo lost to a good army squad and albanY to
a good UMass team.

not silly- most likely recruiting- St. A's is arguably the top
program in the country with a rich history. we don't get St.
A's kids. we have two i think and two more coming in, as Coach
Chan is an alum, a former coach, and i think his dad coaches
there too. other teams do this- like duke.

beginning of Q4. buonaiuto picks up a rebound and stuffs it in.

BU flag, SB EMO. CVG open on the wing, from white. 12-8 BU
pickel on the wing, feeds inside to CVG in the crease, turns and
shoots in traffic. 12-9 BU
o'rourke at x, curls above and is left open. 13-9 BU
same play- pickel to CVG. 13-10 BU
mcgovern to groeninger in the high crease, turn and shoot. 14-10
BU
save and fast break, o'leary to haun. 14-11 BU
haun drew a flag, late hit. SB EMO, no draw. BU save and
clear.
TO BU, Q4 236
mcgovern gets doubled, draws a flag, scores inside. 15-11 BU

So what do you think?
I can't call a road non-conference game a major setback because
rankings don't mean much except for tournament seedings and
getting out of the America East has been the problem with this
program. Gotta get there first.
Hartford in the house on Saturday, this is where it counts the
most. They proved they can force a ton of turnovers and make
people take bad shots. They're much more competitive in
face-offs than they've been in the past and can score in the
clutch. Also, although Haun had a good day Saturday, Pearson was
quiet. Can we get them both going at the same time?
But all the games have been close and they haven't held anyone
under double figures yet despite solid work in goal by
Bollinger. He basically stands in front of a machine gun all day
long.
