ok, i only asked because they updated the website to include
that ford is the head coach, but thornton still shows as the
       asst.
opportunity to upgrade! though, we did well with hargrave.

It can’t be said any better than the words you wrote here. A new
unfamiliar head coach would cause a mass exit. Just look around
the country at all the Good players transferring because their
coach moved on. Makale Foreman looks relieved on Twitter even
though Thornton was the main guy responsible for bringing him in
and he followed Boals to OU. He at least can come off his
redshirt year playing for someone who he was around for 12
months prior. I really felt sorry for Makale particularly
       before the Ford hire.

Great news on the Foreman tweet.....I was certainly worried
about his flight risk too, prior to the Ford announcement.
Do you have any insight into where Akwasi stands on
       staying/transferring?

Akwasi is 50/50 on returning or leaving. The staff is working
tooth and nail to keep him a seawolf but he is also hearing from
from Big boys and that is enticing. The kid truly doesn’t have
two feet on either side of the line. He’s right in the middle at
this time. I can say he was one of the players who went to
Heilbron and asked Geno be named head coach for what it’s worth.

Thanks again TheGreatK, for your insight on this. He's a really
nice young man, always wish him the best, but of course, we hope
       he stays.
Totally understand what playing for the big boys would mean, but
if it's a reduced role, like Cremo and Nicholls saw this year,
then he may have to factor reduced playing time into the
equation. Is that good or bad for his pro career? That's the
       $64MM question.
BTW, I think your last sentence implicitly makes it 51/49 that
       he stays :).

What pro options are available to him? Is that not on the table?

When I first heard Yeboah wanted to leave, I just assumed it was
to go pro in Europe or to the G league or something (big
longshot there). I never thought it would be to a power
conference program simply because I'm not sure what he could do
next season to not even just get him drafted, but even get him
into an off season camp for an NBA team. At some point, you're
better off playing in the AE than riding the bench in the Big 12
or something like that. Though Yeboah would be good enough to
       start at several power programs.
