I love how we've dictated the pace in this game. That's a big
thing for a young team to impose on a senior-laden squad.

I feel like SB peaked in the OOC play this season, and Hartford,
UMBC, UA are peaking now.

OK, this has been a phenomenal way to end the regular season.
What a win. What a run.
Blew out Maine (like we should).
Beat UMBC convincingly.
Lose to Vermont on the road in the last minute, in a game that
we led deep in the second half.
Beat Hartford on the road, basically without Latimer.
And we're the second seed with (at least) two home games in the
only games that really matter.
I'm SO PUMPED for the tournament. I love our chances. I really
do.

i can tell you the exact moment we wont this game. 6min left,
tied at 54, we hit two layups, hart misses a three, carroll
travelled (that wasnt a travel btw). we went up 60-54.
after that, then yeboah hit a jumper, hart missed a three, and
corny hit a three. 10 point lead with 4min left. of course we
nearly blew it but nice to hold on against a veteran squad.

yeah.. good win to end the regular season. Hope the injuries are
nothing serious. I understand this is the new norm.. live or die
by the 3pts (OT: great article on Villanova and three point
shooting on WSJ today).. if we cut down shooting 3pts by 25% and
try 25% more layups... and keep up the usual defensive edge...we
can win this whole damn tournament

Glad I got through this game w/o suffering a coronary. We
finally attacked rim and our D down the stretch was superb.
Thank you Garcia for hitting that front-end of the 1-and-1!
Special kudos to Corey Long and Jules Moor, who both had great
games, with Latimer sitting on the bench (hope he’s ok).
This Hartford team is a really solid team btw. Lynch just got
elevated to 1st team for me. Some really poor trips by Hartford
the last few mins-I blame Gallagher for that. Boals coached a
great game imo.

I noticed the attendance myself last night reading the box
score. A game with seeding implications and play off
implications 964 was poor to say the least . Our crowds at the
I are always strong and I would expect close to a sellout
Saturday night .
