I'm hoping UMBC can steal another one from them and take them
down. They've lost games at home and clearly they're beatable at
home, but damn this would be have been a Great win to have.
Season defining perhaps.
Anyway, onto Hartford to hopefully lock up the 2 seed and a
couple more home games at IFCU.

Major incentive to win Tuesday or we see Albany in the first
round as our only home game.
Very positive contribution from Long tonight, by the way. We
were outscored 15-4 down the stretch tonight. Didn’t seem that
drastic.

It sounded like Vermont was inflating crowd noise, that place

The problem I had was that Yeboah/Garcia were trying too hard
for the three when they were up 46-41. A two pointer would have
still put them up by eight and made it hard for Vermont to come
back

Vermont didnt shoot any better, but they made foul shots when it
counted the most, something SB chokes at when the game is on the
line.

The foul shots especially the front end of 1and 1 s is terrible
then at least 2 easy lay ups missed and a major turnover at
about a minute left in the game . They didnt beat us by much
since we beat ourselves in the last 3 minutes

Scary how good and bad this team can be at times but that what
comes with a talented young team. When SB got the ball back down
by 2 with about 40 seconds I thought we had it but Cornish
decided to take it himself and drive up the middle and missed.
With that much time I wish he would have slowed it down and
tried to get some time off and a better look. SB then fouled and
some how got the ball back and we rushed it again and threw it
into the crowd. Hopefully they learned from this, they have the
talent they now need to learn from their mistakes. I believe we
still have a good chance to win the AE tournament and are
looking forward to it!
