Horrible, horrible game by SB. They should have lost. I hate to
say it fellas, but SB peaked at the wrong time. I dont think SB
makes it past the first round of the NCAA playoffs.

Didn’t deserve to win. Need Yeboah or Latimer to have ball in
hands at end there for FT’s. I thought that final 3 was going
down.

You think they lose at home to Binghamton, Albany or Maine? We'd
be double digit favorites in any of those games.
I'm not saying we played well but ... UNH made THIRTEEN threes.
That's well above their average, and I don't think we even
defended the arc that horribly either. On top of that, we missed
so many easy ones. Boals said after the game that we were 6 for
23 from the paint in the first half; I don't know about the
second. That's not only bad but unlucky. We didn't convert from
deep either – just 4 of 20. Josh said on the broadcast a few
times that SBU wasn't playing poorly. Shots just weren't falling
and UNH shot better than they usually do. They only had 12
points in the paint to our 32. I'll take my chances with that
split every time.
That three looked good out of Reed's hands though. Phew.
Vermont and Hartford tied at the half. :o

I saw the first 5 minutes of this game before I had to head out
for the afternoon and man am I glad I did because this looked
UGLY. What the hell happened? We should not have won this one.
We got lucky as all hell if I'm being honest. Sounds like they
were one missed three at the end away from giving us our worst
loss in program history. Box score says this should have been a
UNH win. They were 43% from 3 to our 20%.
Got the W though, so we can breathe somewhat easily. Hope for
Hartford to pull this upset off. I'll catch the second half from
my couch. ;D
