Otchere is absolutely bonkers. Thank GOD we have him. Beast!
That block where they called a foul on him though was BS. That
was clean.

Not impressed with Sessom at all. He’s certainly intimidated by
our size.

They went on a huge rally, then we responded with one of our
own. Great!!
I also really like our offense when we've got both Yeboah and
Garcia on the floor.

McKenzie played point almost the entire game and was solid (not
spectacular but not overwhelmed either) thoughout. Cornish was
either hurt or mostly stuck on the bench.
Moor and Latimer are already above average AE players, IMHO.

A win is a win at the end of the night. Those turnovers were
ugly, and that run to start the second half from Bing made it
feel like Coach P was coaching the team, but the way we
responded to that was beautiful. Moor had a great game and is
continuing to improve.
Also, how about BIG JEFF?! 7 blocks? Nuts. He was already top 5
nationally in blocks, tonight only adds to that. The fact Boals
was able to find him, and develop him into a shot blocking
monster is a testament to his recruiting and coaching ability.
Go SB!!

Cornish with 4 TO’s in limited minutes resulted in Boals’
benching of him, I believe. Latimer/Moor both outstanding
freshman. And Big Jeff progressing nicely-the key for him is
being able to stay on the floor. 7 blocks (but should have been
8; he got roped off on one in 1st half).
Overall, somewhat of an uninspiring win tonight, but again, got
the job done.

That first foul was a total joke, and the second one wasn't much
better. A real nice night for him. Sessoms had no chance to
finish near the hoop, and I think he was totally dejected with
the way we defended him. 5 for 23 is unsightly. His season
numbers are nice to look at, but it seems to me he's only
interested in the game if he has the ball in his hands – no
movement without the ball, no energy on defense.
Any bettors had to be sick when Akwasi lost the ball out of
bounds at the end.
Curiously no Chef. I was oblivious to it throughout the game and
it wasn't mentioned in the postgame. His absence only
accentuates Jeff's big night. Man, when he stays on the floor,
he is a force whether he's blocking shots or not. He really
allows our perimeter guys to challenge shots.
The 25 turnovers is ghastly, but I'll chalk it up as a one-off.
Binghamton's D has given us fits before.
I thought Cornish had handled pressure well this season – far
better than last year – but this was one of those games that
really emphasized ballhandling and decision making against the
zone/press. Like I said, I thought he'd done a nice job in all
facets to this point in the season.

Love our big guys . Alex with a quick 4 points and Jeff really
beginning to be an intimidating force . Our turnovers were a
disaster but we survived thank heaven it was Binghamton . Our
team continues to improve.
