Some numbers under Boals that are worth looking at ... they're
all good but look right there at the bottom.
Three-pointers per game
2016-17: 23.9 attempts, 7.8 makes, .327 3-pt FG%, 40.7% of all
shots attempted
2017-18: 23.6 attempts, 7.8 makes, .329 3-pt FG%; 40.6% of all
shots attempted
2018-19: 22.1 attempts, 7.1 makes, .323 3-pt FG%; 36.9% of all
shots attempted
Two-pointers per game
2016-17: 34.8 attempts, 15.9 makes, .457 FG%
2017-18: 34.7 attempts, 16.6 makes, .478 FG%
2018-19: 37.7 attempts, 18.4 makes, .489 FG%
All shots per game
2016-17: 58.7 attempts, 23.7 makes, .404 FG%
2017-18: 58.3 attempts, 24.3 makes, .417 FG%
2018-19: 59.9 attempts, 25.6 makes, .427 FG%
Now here we go. Pay attention.

In that one last set of lines, I see better attitude,
aggressiveness and effort.

Ecstatic about the FT #'s (attempts and %). Has been my
buggaboo with this team for years. If we can keep up the 75%
success rate, that's worth an extra couple of wins per year, as
opposed to losses, of course. Kudos to the players and coaching
staff here.
Although you didn't post it, I'm guessing that our board #'s are
up as well, particularly on the offensive glass.
7 games doesn't make a season, but you've gotta love the
direction of this team thus far.
P.S. Is it fair to say that the GW comeback set the tone for
this season in a big way?

Guys are stepping up on this team . Cornish went on a run last
night and put up 22 points and Ochefu and Otterre are just
getting better with each game. Its like have two Warneys out
there .

Yeboah's baseline reverse layup made ESPN's top ten this
morning. If someone can find the clip, it's definitely worthy of
a post here.

Brook has wins over South Carolina, URI, GW and hasn't played a
D1 game at home yet this year. I think they pretty clearly have
the more impressive resume so far

I agree, and ESPN does too. We 188th overall using their own BPI
system, but have the 35th best strength of record in the country
so far. Basically we have the 35th best resume in college
basketball right now (according to ESPN).

The WCC is looking real strong this year. Could be a four bid
conference, and the A10 conversely could be a 1 bid conference.
The MAC gets a second bid if Buffalo doesn't win the conference
tournament as I don't see them being left out this year. Their
programs are on the rise.
