Way to many fouls from him.

Elijah leading the TO barrage tonight; last night it was Akwasi.
Akwasi needs to be touching the ball mire. Only 1 shot this half
at the 8:00 min mark.

I can't watch this. I refuse to watch this. I've seen SB fail
hard enough today.

We won, VA, can’t mix b-ball with FBall, although the loss at UA
was inexcusable.
Good win, considering a very sloppy game. Finished which is
important. Very young team with lots of upside, but there are
going to be growing pains along the way.

Way to close it, boys. We really hit the offensive glass and
Yeboah was the closer we needed him to be. An excellent night
from Garcia as well, and Otchere did a nice job in the middle of
our zone (although I cringed on that last drive). Monster three
from Cornish - his first of the year - to break the tie.
It would have been nice to take both, but a split to get us to
3-1 is still a solid result.

Big Jeff has got to do a better job, no sugar coating it. In
Juco he was told to swat after every thing and on ball screens
to hit the guard and dive hard. Coach didn't care if he fouled
out long as he rejected 4 shots at the rim every night and
deterred 8 more attempts at the rim. (12 shot attempts with no
chance of going in). Boals wants him to use verticality more(had
a sequence at the end where he used it). And not to swat at
everything. Guys that can touch 12 feet when they jump don't
always have to swat. He hasn't totally grasp that concept yet
but he will. He's also been called for a good amount of moving
screens. Which go back to him being told to get out of a screen
quick as possible at the juco level. Refs call moving screens a
lot tighter at the D1 level across the board. He's got to
adjust.and he's willing to.
In the game against Holy Cross I seen some steps forward. Only
picking up 1 foul and rejecting 4 shots. No moving screens.
Boals protected him by taking him out after 1 foul as opposed to
after 2 from like the games before. By conference play with the
help of the staff and myself I think he'll have his foul issues
under wraps.
That's when we really want and need him out there 20-25 minutes
a night. And he should be able to give it consistently.
