Optimism is ... scarce at the Smith Center.

and size, has 'got a lot of work to do' entering 2018-19 season

Yikes. Good for our guys though. Feeling even better about this
one.

This is a winnable game for us if we keep our heads on. Im sure
we can out rebound them and get the ball down court. Just limit
mental errors and turnovers .

It's gameday, boys! What are your predictions???
I am FIRED UP for the year and everything about this matchup
suggests that we can do this tonight, but just a hunch that
we're not quite ready to topple a mid-major at their place on
opening night. Last year's senior class wasn't perfect, but they
had gobs of experience. I think in the early going we'll miss
UC's grit, perimeter shot and ability to put the ball on the
floor and get to the rim. The good news is that these newcomers
will get a ton of run over the next two months to get ready for
the AE grind. I have VERY HIGH HOPES.
But ... I'll temper expectations for day one.

With a guard heavy lineup, supposedly GW is going to play more
up-tempo this year, which conflicts with what Littles (if he
plays) brings to the table as a back-to-the-basket, questionable
motor kind of kid. Nolan called Williams' post moves "NBA level"
... we'll see about that. He was a four-star recruit out of HS
and wouldn't be the first blue chipper to benefit from a change
of scenery.

see how team chemistry develops throughout the season. The
Seawolves also have two walk-ons: Quari Alleyne and Nick Aubrey.
Additionally, at 7’0”, Alex Christie, alongside UVM center Jake
Lorenzo, is the tallest person in the conference.

but I'm really getting hyped for this team and can't wait to see
them play tomorrow. I really think we can take down GW. At worst
it should only be a 5 point game if that. Can't wait!!

Yeah. I cant waittt for that Delaware game this saturday. As
much as I enjoy CBB, I'm a bigger Stony Brook football fan.
Nonetheless Lets go Seawolves!!!
