I was thinking the blowout at Air Force could have been an
outlier. This game shows it wasn’t. This team is not a playoff
team.

I was there, and even I have no idea what the Hell just
happened...
Put that Tom Flacco kid in the Walter Payton conversation
though. He's legit.

That's not true. I anticipated we'd lose a game other than JMU
and it was probably going to be this one. We're still a playoff
team I believe, just probably not one that can make it through
to the quarterfinals.
If we win every game other than JMU, we're 8-3 in the CAA with
two, possibly three ranked wins. That's a playoff resume.
It's if we finish 7-4 that we'll need help to get in. Anything
can happen once you're in the playoffs. New Hampshire made it to
the quarterfinals last year after finishing 7-4, and they were
in the exact same spot we are. Carbone has some nice throws
today, and Field's first drive looked good too (I left right
after that). I put this one on the defense. No pass rush, and
bad tackling against a very good quarterback.

I hate to say it but Rhode Island will roll this team this year.

The silver lining in all of this is it strengthens the argument
to fire Coach P ;D

You think so??? I don't. As much as I would love to see that, it
won't happen. Not this year.
SB could lose out and coach P will still be back next season..

We were behind before we knew it to a very good CAA team with an
excellent quarterback.
Elon and Towson are both stronger this year than predicted (as
are UMaine and URI). UNH is not - we should be favored next
week by a good bit.
