Played 7 minutes this past weekend and made everyone one of them
count. Assisted in the rebounding advantage.

Some more details-
Specific pressure that we struggled with was Full court
pressure.
Andrew Garcia played well and scored in double figures. We
played small ball for a stretch with him at the 5 spot. Staff
was very happy with the idea of Garcia as a small ball 5 at
times.

great news on christie and garcia!
surprised to hear that we'd consider small ball, especially
given our poor perimeter shooting at times- however, the AE isnt
that big, so i suppose you could pull it off with garcia at
6'5''.
i guess with yeboah, ola, and garcia, you've got a presence in
the paint. that's like a 33321!
when you say pressure- i assume you mean we didnt clear the ball
well against the press... fortunately, it's early (well, not
that early...); i was thinking our relative depth could help in
this area.

GW game is on ESPN+. It’s for pay, but 7-day free trial signup.

ESPN+ is $5 a month for a boatload of sports. Not just football
and basketball. I think it's worth having for football season at
least as a lot of MVFC games are on there. It's possible AE
games get put on ESPN+ instead of the currently free ESPN3, but
time will tell.

Ugghhh.....I must have missed that money grab announcement with
ESPN+. Looks like we'll be forced to pay for ESPN+ to be able
to watch the full arsenal of games this year:

Everything that's been spoken about in this thread was on
display last night.
I think excited to see how Latimer's career turns out. He's
superb for this level.
Love the look of Garcia as a Stretch/Small ball 5. Big Jeff
can't stretch the floor out like that.
Jeff will be reliable on the block with Jump hooks, dunker spot
drop offs, mixed in with lobs and he'll make more free throws
than he did in juco. But he isn't shooting the rock from 21
feet out like Andrew and I love that look out there on the
floor. As Garcia's jumper gets more respect as the season goes
on,he'll wreak havoc on closeouts.
Bring on USC!
