Wasn't aware of this scrimmage. Would certainly like to have
seen it. Can you tell us more?
You didn't mention Yeboah or McKenzie--any issues? Did Garcia
play and look healthy? Did you get to see Christie or Moor?

Sorry, just thought to mention who did well. I didn't witness
the scrimmage with my eyes, it's closed to the public. This is
second hand info from the staff.
Garcia had a concussion 3 minutes in (Kid can't catch a break)
Yeboah wasn't himself but I don't think anyone's worried about
that.we know what he is.
Moor brings grit and tenacious defense.
Didn't get anything on Christie.
McKenzie wasn't bad but wasn't good, Cornish just balled.

Thanks a bunch, ThegreatK. Garcia certainly seems to be
star-crossed. Hope he comes back quickly. I wonder if there's
any chance an open scrimmage or exhibition game may be scheduled
prior to the season.

Fordham board that you guys won the 1st half by 4 and were blown
out in the second half by 19. Yikes if the 2nd half number is
true.

Was told we won the first half by 4 and came out in the second
half leading by 7 then downhill from there. Guys taking their
foot off the gas. Fordham's coaching staff admitted(in private).
our Roster looks more talented than theirs. For what it's worth
they play in a conference a lot better than ours so that's a
credit to the recruiting by our staff.

weekend. Then the show begins baby!

They've customarily opened up a practice to season ticket
holders. Has anyone heard of that happening this year? Maybe
this weekend?
GreatK, how do you pronounce Otchere's last name? I've been
saying "Aw-chair-ay"
Olaniyi is such a throwback. Never takes possessions off, never
showboats, plays both ends of the floor, and was a leader even
as a freshman. You could always count on him going to the goal
and getting on the glass, but I'm eager to see if he has the
touch from distance this year. Lord knows we need it. Last
year's seniors were pretty pedestrian, but when Yeboah wasn't on
the floor, you could still envision getting production from Ty,
UC, Saintel, Sekunda maybe. If Akwasi needs a breather or in
foul trouble (as he'll be on occasion), I suppose we lean on
Olaniyi and, based on K's assessment, Latimer.

Lol "Oh-Chair-ree".Easy name to mess up.
You're spot on with Olaniyi, I think we can expect him to step
up and be our leader. He's the Alpha on the squad though just a
sophomore. The team knows it and the coaches knows it. Not sure
what to expect as a shooter from him but I'd surely expect
improvement. Forgive me if I'm wrong but we may end up leaning
on him just as much as Akwasi, if not more.
