Today was abysmal. Absolutely God awful. I don't even know what
to say. So much went wrong.... 75 yards of total offense for the
game along with only four first downs. Awful.

38-0 has to be one of the worst losses in our D1 history . Our
guys were just not prepared today no excuses or double speak
from the coaching staff . Granted Air Force is FBS but they are
not Alabama either. Our offense failed with interceptions,
dropped or missed passes , the line not being able to move
smaller guys you name it. The bright spot was Marc Nolan our
punter he was great today and improved over last year.

To me the defense played on their heels a lot of the day. We
went to the game and stayed with an old AF buddy of mine and
even he said they call the Altitide their 13 man. Did not see
any real bright spots on either side of the ball and if we look
at last years JMU game and today’s Joe C was really flat. 75
yards total offense? I don’t know how many first downs AF but I
was tired of hearing it what seemed like every two minutes. 99
on D is really undisciplined and I think had 4 or 5 off sides on
third down which led to shorter conversions. Hopefully we can
regroup and put this friggin ugly game behind and get a win next
week.

not a total loss- didnt we get $700k??? ::)
this is the kinda game that makes you think twice about the jump
to FBS.

So you're second guessing being able to recruit the talent to
win a game like this? I don't get the logic. This has nothing to
do with FBS. Today was just bad. Whether you point the finger at
the coaching, the offensive line, or Carbone is of little
consequence. It was a bad day all around.

Two years ago we were blown out by FBS Temple by an identical
score. We finished that season 5-6. Hopefully we are not looking
at that sort of a season record this year.

In a funny way, it would be the best thing for the team going
forward.
