Capturing the First CAA team title in school history is awesome.

Stony Brook freshman Collin Gilstrap ran 4:06 mile in his first
mile race for Stony Brook. I think he has a chance to break a
lot of stony brook records over the next years. Definitely
someone to keep an eye on if you have any interest in the
olympic sports at Stony Brook.

Gilstrap won the IC4A 3k championship on Sunday running 7:53. He
shattered the school record by 10 seconds. It's the 42nd best
time in the country this year at the distance and has the
fastest time of any American born true freshman. The future is
very bright for him
