of good looking recruits have passed SBU up recently. But, and
offer has just gone out to JUCO SF Meikkel Murray out of
Coffeyville CC. I think he would be a great get if we could
land him. To me he looks like a Mo Gueye clone!!

I like him. Looks aggressive and not afraid to drive to the
basket in traffic. Something Stony brook lacked last season.

Sign me up. He played big minutes at school. It looks like he's
comfortable putting it on the floor but can also go to work in
the post – he can be plenty effective at 6-6 in the America
East. He had a little jump hook and an up-and-under on that
highlight reel that looked smooth. We REALLY lacked that this
year. Also, it looks like he has the athleticism to defend on
       the perimeter.
Not gonna lie – as he's an Amherst guy, I wouldn't complain if
he returned home to play. Mass exodus there. Anywhere but
Albany, which is relatively down the street from home.

Although I'd love to see him in an SBU uniform, if he's looking
to play right away, SBU may not be his personally best
destination. We're still pretty loaded up for the upcoming
year, even after the departure of Latimer and Jeff.

It appears that 6"9" PF Jaden Sayles is transferring from Akron
to SBU. He hasn't had the opportunity to show much at all at
Akron due to a series of injuries in both his freshman and
sophomore seasons. But he seems to have had a pretty good high
school career in Cincinnati. I'll look for some video, Based
upon his past i njury profile, I wouldn't be surprised if he
redshirted this season with the Seawolves.

just what we needed- and when we needed it. not terribly
impressed with the rebound #s but stats are just that- stats.
       i'd like to see film.  and akron arguably plays better teams;
       he'll be tall for AE.
depending on where he lands though, i wonder if this yet another
junior. likely not. if he's in policelli's class, that could
be a nice front court for a few years.
there's a logjam of bigs at akron and a three star freshman.
       that couldve jarred him loose.
by the way look at how many TRs there are at akron!?!?!?!

Interesting decommit today from TJ Berger, who we were on before
he signed with Penn. Same HS as Chef.
The video’s two years old but it gives you an idea of what he
offers - handled the point, looks like he can distribute a
little, but best known for his shooting. Anybody here think we
       can improve in that category?

Looks like the Seawolves have finally filled their last open
scholly for the '20-'21 season. Yet another LuHi kid (to join
Policelli and Stephenson-Moore). This time it's SG Tykei Greene
by way of transfer from Manhattan. If this coming season is
allowed to proceed, it looks to me that the team is going to be
       really strong!!

Just a note re: Greene: It looks like both he and Jaden Sayles
may be red-shirted, preserving some excellent talent for next
season. This could actually be a wise move, as the team will be
losing 7 players the next season, and could make good use of the
next wave of players to have some experience with the team and
coaching staff to ease the rebuild process for '21-'22.
