WE DID IT!!! Bye bye Great Danes ;D ;D
I'm good with whatever happens at Vermont now. We knocked ALBANY
out of the tournament. Only fitting after all those years of
them sending US home.

i feel like this is the upset we NEVER pull off. we flipped the
script; UA shot cold from short and long, and we played tough in
the paint.
great intensity tonight and i have to say we were prepared
against the halfcourt press.
another thing i noticed is that while we penetrated, we went up
with some terrible close range attempts. we got blocked a bit
too. there were a few threes late that we shouldnt have shot
(akwasi got one). also he had two blocked. this is a real shot
in the arm, nice job SB!!!
sure, plenty of games to go, but still this was a big win.
let's get UC healthy and prepare for the next round.

Big thing I noticed above all was we rebounded much more
aggressively and better than normal and we forced more
turnovers. Couldn't have come at a better time too!

Good win and a small bit of payback. Was really hoping one of
those earlier games would go the upset route, as a much tougher
one coming up!
Three Seawolves with solid point-total games, and they'll no
doubt need that and maybe a fourth to have a shot up in Vermont.
Go up there and be Giant Killers, SBU!

As I said tough to beat the same team 3 times in the same
season. Onto Vermont Tuesday.

i think we had four dunks tonight. i saw almost every game and
i dont think we exceeded 4 total.
saintel had some foul trouble but if we use him right, he is a
multi-tooled player that can create momentum.
nichols and cremo missed twenty five shots.
this is one of those games where some are going to say petras
was awful and others will say he was a factor. he isnt perfect
but id rather have his presence in the paint than no one, and
also even if he is the only post player and backs in with the
same righthanded baby hook, ill take it if it means we arent a
one dimensional team.
olaniyi is coming into his own. he's just plain good and
athletic. anyone know why yeboah sat 15min in the first?
id keep sturdy in the paint. 13 boards? makes up for the
misses.

We were a 5 seed and upset #1 Vermont in 2011. History tends to
repeat itself ;D
