Regarding Lamb, yes, seems the UVM fan base is suggesting he
should be coming back sometime soon. Guess we'll see tonight if
       he's at least in uniform.
And if I'm not mistaken, I think UMBC's win today now locks in
Albany at #4 no matter what happens (I think Hartford has the
tiebreaker on them by beating UVM), so SBU at Albany for round
       1. Chance for some payback...or more of the same?
But, back to tonight, hoping there is continued evidence SBU is
playing better. Tim D starts and plays some significant opening
minutes? These "Sr Nights" can be interesting. Guess SBU has six
seniors, so someone will have to sit if it's a senior starting
       lineup.

Payback time at Albany, and don't think that Will Brown isn't
concerned. As much as he rubs others in the League the wrong
way at times with his rhetoric, he is probably the most prepared
coach in the League, present or historically. It'll be a tough
game match-up, but as the old adage goes, tough to win 3 in a
row against the same team in a given year.
Tim D won't start, but he'll get a couple of minutes. FWIW, my
son has played pickup games against him in the gym a couple of
years back, and said that he's an amazing player. Just goes to
show you that even the 14th guy on a D1 team who is a walk-on,
is a pretty darn good player.

I can’t see UVM burning a year. Should get a medical redshirt.

I would expect him to be back, if he is healthy enough to do so.
Maybe not tonight, but definitely by Wed (their last conf
game), and into the playoffs. VT is a senior-laden team, and if
they are going to win an NCAA tournament game, this is the year
for them to do it. I'm sure they want their big gun on the
floor, if he's healthy enough. Also, from a VT perspective,
they have lots of guys graduating this year, so I'm sure they
may view Lamb as a possible transfer risk, to a higher-echelon
program, so that too, may be impetus to put him back on the
       floor.
       Purely my speculation here.

They’ve been burying people without him, and if anything, I feel
like thrusting/forcing him back into action could actually
disrupt what they’re doing. And to lose a year for, at most,
       seven games? Seems short-sighted.
Then again, maybe he leaves the program in the off-season, or at
the very least after he graduates and they only get three full
       years with him anyway.

Disrupting what they've been doing is a valid point. Their game
plan will need to change to incorporate him back into the flow.
I think the loss to Hartford at home has shaken them up, and
sounds like the fan base is chomping at the bit to get him back.
Agree that it may be short-sighted, but it sounds like it's a
now-or-never sentiment at UVM right now. We shall see.

We're competing well so far and have a four point lead as of
       this moment. Good to see.
I'd love noting more than to send Albany home in the first
round. They've messed us up so many times in the AE post season
that knocking them out on their home floor would be sweet, sweet
justice in my book. I wouldn't care about the games after that.
UML could get the AE bid to the tournament for all I care as
       long as we beat Albany.
