I don't mean to put down our internal crew, because they're
doing a great job with what they have, but having ESPN levels of
broadcast accessibility and quality is night and day superior
than having to have a browser window open for our games. I don't
know what our media deal is, but whatever it's paying us, it's
not worth not having the accessibility of being on ESPN3. CAAF
should just sell their media rights package to ESPN and call it
a day. Whatever we're getting from Comcast or NBC isn't worth
it.

Touchdown!!! What was that? 78 yards? Something like that.
That's the explosiveness I love to see out of this offense and
is what we'll need from Carbone and the receiving corp if we're
going to beat JMU next weekend. Glad we decided to open up the
play calling even if just for this game. We could just run the
ball every play, but we're not and that's good since next
weekend we'll have to open up the playbook if we're to have any
chance at all.

could it be, that chuck was holding back the playbook for this
very moment! ;) :)
anyway let's put this game away first and see how the rest of
the field develops. 'bone looks to be putting more zip on the
ball today.

The defense is giving up yardage and points a bit too easily.
You can say Lehigh is a top 5 FCS offense, but we're really
going to have to clean that up too if we want to beat JMU.
They're legit. Next weekend will be fun though after we close
out today and not take any injuries.

six wins in a row. GO SB
i think this is big because i dont even feel like this was a big
win. it's commonplace, expected that we win this one. the sign
of arriving???
with a TD taken away (and i swear we had a safety), this offense
sans bolden and parris looks good in playoff form.
lehigh isnt terrible. they just couldnt cover sideline to
sideline AND the box. when they did, they couldnt tackle.

attendance- 4131
354 on the ground (to 113), 7.2 avg and 6 rushing TDs
622 total yards. 6/7 in red zone. special teams had a good
day. lots of tackles from our secondary, though that's
partially because we got torched in the air game.

Fun game, but 4000 attendance and 0 student fans is
embarrassing..

it's an ankle injury. We should probably rest Bedell too
honestly. If we can't win this game without them, something is
seriously wrong...

Ray Boulden was walking around on the sidelines with a boot...
Not good for next week. I say his college carrier is over..

Gave up too many points, but we didn't suffer any additional
injuries as far as I could tell and we opened up the playbook
considerably. Carbone was throwing the ball around more than I
expected which is good I think. 600 total yards is no joke along
with 59 points to build confidence in this offense.
Ahead of what will be our toughest game of the season, today
couldn't have gone better for building confidence for our
players. Now no more speculation. On to JMU! I'll be at the game
for sure as this will be a great one.

Thanksgiving weekend students are home. Its always been that
way. It was always considered and called a suitcase college. I
have never known it to be it to be different, its been that way
since and before I went there in the early 90's. Also its not
viewed as a sports school from the student body. A lot of local
kids from the island and the city go home on the weekends, COB
can back that up. It is what it is.
