Lehighs def today is much different then the team that played u
penn .Their lbs are extremely active and very good !
Lehigh has a. Much better team then their record shows . There
defense will keep their team in this game . Their offense is
outstanding ! Don't make your travel plans just yet
This lehigh team is playing the way they where supposed play
back in the early part of the Season. You know that old saying
iabout college football " it's bettter to lose early then late "
well nothing is more true about this lehigh team

It's lehigh.. If this game is nothing but a blowout, I'll be
shocked. if we lose this game then the the FCS rankings and
stony brook 10th place ranking is totally obscure...

Lehigh gets kids from Saint Thomas aquainas , don bosco , Saint
Peter's prep , st Joes prep , red bank catholic these are not
roll over kids . These kids play till the end !

Good stuff, but based on having to play #1 JMU in 2nd round
(assuming a victory over Lehigh), we effectively received the
#16 seed, below each of the above final rankings. The same
logic implies that Lehigh received the #17 seed. Both seem
quite flawed, but it is what it is.

The seeds were BS, but I wouldn't mind playing JMU in the second
round. If anything they got screwed more than we did. They're
playing a top 10 team in the quarter final as the #1 seed while
NDSU as the #2 could wind up playing against non scholarship San
       Diego.

Good point, re:JMU. The New Hampshire seeding is most puzzling
since they finished 2 games behind us PLUS lost the head-to-head
against us, which effectively makes it a 3-game difference,
strength of schedule aside. Didn't bother to read all the
geography restrictions, but was NH being 600+ miles away from
Virginia a factor taken into consideration for 2nd round as
       well?

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the only true
seeds that matter are the 1-8...meaning presuming all of the
actually seeded teams win their first matchup, they are playing
the appropriate team in the third week of playoffs (i.e. #1 JMU
plays #8 Southern Utah)...the unseeded teams playing this
weekend are based primarily on geography and intriguing matchups
for next week (i.e. SBU potentially playing JMU, a league
matchup that may draw more attention then were we to play
       Central Arkansas or Wofford).
Just as we are complaining that we got screwed by lining up to
play JMU should we advance...think of JMU's gripe...they are #1
overall and may have to play the 10th team in the country, from
the CAA in their first game...doesn't seem fair to them either
