by way of rankings... not that this stuff even really matters,
       especially this early:
  HTML http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/football/fcs/fcs-coaches-poll
       a measly three votes!
at least STATS gave us 35!

[/quote]Well, Towson got 13 votes. So, I guess that means we
have a chance to move closer to the actual list this week.

im gonna wager a guess here and state the carbone is an
"outperform" with these #s through three:

       points per game 33
       passing first downs 25
       completions 41/73
       interceptions 2
       passing yards per attempt 6
       passing yards per game 142
       touchdowns 5
       total yards per game 308
       average time of possession 30:41
       3rd down conversions 39%
       4th down conversions 67%
       sacks 4
       red zone conversions 10/11
       red zone touchdowns 8/11

The polls are dumb as hell this year. Teams barely moved around
at all and I'd wager most of the voters don't even watch FCS
games. New Hampshire and North Dakota both got thumped and
barely moved. Idaho State beat FBS Nevada and barely moved.
They're just dumb this year. Take care of business and we'll
move up. The only ranking that matters comes the third weekend
of November (or somewhere around there).

True. Look how UA got snubbed out of the playoffs last year, and
even with beating UB and earning 7 wins!

in terms of SoS, it's good that right now:
       #1 JMU
       #6 Richmond
       #8 Nova
       #16 UNH
       20 votes W&M
       13 votes Towson
       2 votes UA
the STATS poll is similar but also has Maine getting 20 votes,
       Delaware getting 7.

Just tuning in now at the half. Stadium looks empty despite
Towson being a solid opponent and the wealthy relatively
       favorable.

Just got home and it was empty tonight why I don't know. CAA
game , great weather and I guess we had 5k maybe . Anyway
tough win but a win non the less . Towson played well and had a
       few chances to pull ahead.
