sounds like CVG moves to mid (was already posted here) and
perhaps some mids to attack. didnt get the rest but if anyone
else did, please let us know. my guess is haun and white at
attack, maybe walsh?
more guesses. mid is maybe grippe, CVG, pickel, daly, freshmen?
matsuoka should be in the mix and i think will be our new jeff
reh. any word on munoz?

We clearly have players who can play both mid and attack. I like
Walsh at X, he shined there against Havard and seems to be a
special feeder. I would say Haun and Walsh at attack, need a
crease guy. White and Grippe looked real strong to me as a
dodgers, throw in CVG and you have your first line. another
option, because we dodge from the alley White can stay on attack
and I would plug Pickel in , he had some nice goals in fall.
Just some thoughts, offense showed me some versatility in the
fall excited to see how it looks in a few weeks.

I saw the preview on lax sports network. take away is that they
felt that we would do better than last year within our
conference. Also said we have a tough out of conference
schedule, said Nagle recruits players who can score alot.
Brought up last year's Brown game.

How did the Seawolves do against a fast-paced, high scoring
offense last year? They won 25-17 against Brown. Stony Brook has
the weapons to stay with the Cavaliers, and if the Virginia
defense is like it was a year ago, that won’t be good.[/quote]

Anyone else attend today's 5-quarter scrimmage? Great day for
lacrosse!
Overall, I thought we looked pretty sloppy with the occasional
highlight, still very early of course. We weren't winning many
face-offs, and had 3 early starts that earned a penalty at the
end of the fourth. Ball movement was minimal during most
offensive efforts. Teams seemed overall evenly matched, but
'Nova appeared to have much more control on O. We took a lot of
low percentage shots and either rushed or forced our way in. I
did see one nice EMO x 2 play. Matsu had a pretty slick maneuver
to the cage on a fast break, but didn't convert unfortunately.
Hoping we can pull things together over the next few weeks.
