Another loss- now comes what I think is a must win game against
       Hofstra who is also winless.
Losing this next game would not look good. Obviously a very
young team but gotta turn that talent into wins at some point.

Looked like we were still struggling with the fundamentals. We
lost nearly every face-off through the first three quarters and
never seemed to pull out of the scrambles with a ground ball.
Philbin won several FOs against their second-tier guy who kept
getting called for illegal procedures or false starts. Also, am
I the only fan concerned about our ability to clear the ball?
Seems like other teams are doing it effortlessly while we have
our poles trying to bull dodge through 3 defenders hoping to
avoid getting stripped while our middies are running away with
their backs turned aloof to struggling defenders attempting the
clear. It's painful to watch and I'm concerned that it doesn't
seem to bother anyone on the sidelines.
Matsuoka wasn't dressed to play yesterday. Not sure what's going
       on there.

Agreed, SB has obstacles to recruiting, but others with the same
limitations do much better on the same Island. Coach Sowell
brought us to the ncaa semi-finals and continues to excel at
Navy. SB girls lax and Coach Spallina are constantly ranked and
in the tournament. Hofstra historically does better at a higher
price school in a less desirable neighborhood. Adelphi, NYIT,
Post are always ranked in the top 20 of D2 and win national
championships. Nagel’s track record is clear, it’s not going to
get better. Time for a change.

i noticed a new player at the penn state game- jerry brown. his
profile is up on the roster.
on the topic of recruiting- and i know this is more normal these
days, but here's some changes in the last few months- just based
on commitments and the current roster:
off the roster: conor wolff, devin andrews, john pfohl, john
ehlers, mike benasutti, brian hannigan, aberdeen allen
       new: jerry brown
it's no wonder classes are now up to 15-20 recruits.

       1-7 on Extra Man
       1-8 on Faceoffs

       Hoping for 2 things
       1) A 2nd half comeback
       2) The passionless clueless coach to be seen the door ASAP
