Coach P wants to be taken very lightly this season but don't let
that press conference fool you from yesterday for one the SBU
defensive coaches feel the defense might be better than last
year though they will still miss Lyle's play calling very much
and the QB Coach feels that Carbone has really improved however
he has to show it on field and be more consistent Fields still
slings the ball but is working very hard on coming over the top
SBU has to win this year or I believe there will be a Coaching
shake up
There were slightly over 500 prospects at the 5 one day camps
and according to the Coaching Staff there were probably around
50 players who could either be scholarship or walk-on recruits
I know I'm in the minority but I believe that they can go 7-4
this year as the only non winnable game is South Florida all the
rest can go either way

SBU picked to finish 8th in the CAA
Albany's program IMHO seems to be going in a much better
direction.

Albany can move the ball on the ground and in the air. This is
something we have yet to accomplish in the last few years .
This QB struggle of ours will be our downfall again I'm afraid.

Campi, if we finish 7-4 I'll go eat a shoe. 7-4 would have
gotten us into the playoffs last year. Seven games in this
conference will get you into the conversation. Albany was the
first team left OUT of last year's playoffs. With our wins
though we would have gotten in with that record.
Albany may be trending up right now, but once we're good again,
they'll be an after thought. Our location gives us an edge over
the other two SUNY programs (Buffalo has done a whole lot of
nothing despite being in D1-A/FBS for the past 30 years).

I am the first guy on this board who would be jumping up and
down if SB goes 7-4 this year, but i dont see that happening.
There are too many unanswered questions and we still dont have a
QB and we dont know what the DC can do... As you are aware of
Campi, no QB means offense can't score and the defense will be
out on the field for most of the game.. I am tired of three and
out or third and long......

Well, as usual, it looks like whatever problems SBU football
might have over the next several years, it's not likely to be at
RB. The video I saw about a week ago on '18 commit Ty Son Lawton
had me totally impressed with quickness, elusiveness and speed.
Well, hold onto your hat, the Seawolves just got a commitment
from another '18 RB. Take a look at this video of Rahsul
Faison!! This guy might even be better than the other one!!

Just get a damn QB already!!!!!!!

A new coach equals a good QB.. We will never see a high profile
QB if coach P continues to pilot the ship

We just got another stud RB yesterday for the 2018 class his
name is Rahsul Faison out of Pennsylvania and he made the first
team all-state as a junior so now that makes 3 commits so far
for next years class

Thats nice. Now maybe SB can focus on recruiting a QB. I think
we wont be very successful with an offense filled with RB's and
no QB!!!
