First of all, players don't read these message boards!!!
Secondly, it wasn't really a knock on Kam, but really on the
coaches who would start him when it was apparent that the team
would play much better when it wasn't on the floor. By the way,
every Stony Brook game I attend, I root for ever player wearing
a Seawolves jersey. These boards are here to voice our true
opinions and not just to wave our pom pons.
In the end, some people know the game and other don't know the
game. Some people have played the game and others have never
played the game.
Congrats to Woodhouse on such a wonderful season despite the
lack of talent around you. Not my words, but you were
definitely Point God and should have been an unanimous POY.
Thanks for you great leadership ieach and every night.

Congrats to the seniors- tough to go out in this style but
nothing but respect. I'm proud of any player that comes here and
represents the university with class and plays hard. It's one
thing to criticize the play of some players at games which I do-
I'm still proud of the effort that this team has put in every
day in this unexpectedly fun season.
Kam- won't ever forget that game against UW that really showed
that this team was for real. He gave 150% every game and his
leadership will be missed.
Lucas- great player, would have been fun to see how he would
have done with 4 years here. Really left a lasting impact on
this team and America East. Hopefully Long Island talent will
continue to come here- it must have been great playing in front
of his family and friends for the last two years.

We dont have to worry about hearing Mitchell name anymore. Good
riddance...

Hating on a kid who did nothing but rep Stonybrook with class
and dignity for 4 plus years is what I expect from Hammer and
Lax! Nothing new there. I wonder if you guys have kids? If so
your setting a great example for them.IMO
This was an awesome experience for Kam and he learned some very
valuable lessons while on the Island! Most of them are what a
great community (most) of the SBU people are. Also there are
always gonna be haters in life. It's been real. Kam will do
great things in life because he learned how to ignore the
negative and just work on the positive! Some of you guys on here
could learn a few things from him it seems!
Forever a Stonybrook fan! I'm out!

Kam, I apologize on behalf of a few fans who call our own
players good riddance and garbage. I thank you for choosing to
represent SB and giving your 110%. Best of luck with future
endeavor. I wish nothing but the best to each SB student
athlete. Don't let haters bring you down. #GoSeawolves

Dont apologize for me. I am a big boy.. I dont know about you
but I want SB athletics to grow and be a winning program. This
is why i attend sporting events. To watch teams win, not lose.
Being vocal and voicing your own opinion is what we do on
forums.. Maybe some fans shouldn't be on forums if they only
want to hear the good all the time..
Dont feel bad for Kam, Petras or any other player on the team,
because most of them get their education for free for playing a
sport.. Did you get a free ride at your school???? Athletes are
held to a higher standard because of all the free perks they get
from schools for playing a sport, and because of that, coaches
are expected to win games, not lose games and pat the athletes
on the back for not performing well. This is the society we are
in today when it comes to colleges and sports. And i like it...
With that said. I would give my shirt off my back for any
athlete at SB and help them anyway i can if called upon. And i
do with donations and ticket sales.. I give back to SB not as an
Alumni, but as a fan!

First of all, players absolutely DO read these boards. That is
not speculation on my part, that is FACT. Do you really think
they're unaware of these boards? What 18-22 year old kid is not
going to check out what is being said about him on a public
forum?
And because they have a well-deserved athletic scholarship it's
ok to take pot-shots at them? I guess your season tickets and
stipend donation to Seawolves United entitles you to behave like
a cretin. An anonymous cretin.
I would love for Kam and Jakub to encounter Hammer and Lax in an
empty parking lot and give them an opportunity to repeat their
comments to their faces. Game over.

There is good chance 'southern guy', who initialed as KTM in his
last post, could be from Jacksonville, FL with full name Kameron
Thomas Mitchell. But who knows.

Absolutely agree that they get a free quality education... and
totally ok to criticize their games and weakness... But calling
them garbage or good riddance or wasted scholarship or doesn't
belong in Div I.. Come on.

This is a total hoax in that this guy is pretending to be the
father of Kam. This reason I know this, is that he would know
how to spell Stony Brook!!!

I'm glad too see that you guys have figured these two out. They
hide behind keyboards with big talk. Anytime someone tries to
say that their comments are uncalled for they try to shout you
down. There is a big difference in giving your opinion and
calling someone garbage, it's called having class. And another
thing, nobody cares what tickets you buy or what money you
donate. They like to dish it out but can't seem to take it. You
do not need to call kids garbage to make a point and they
wouldn't want that said about their own. The only word thay
comes to mind is cowards. They both act like these kids stole
their lunch money. Here's a suggestion, grow the f up. But they
won't and I'm sure they will post some junior high school
response to this. So bring it.
