2012 SB Basketball Recruiting

Two commitments so far SF Ryan Burnett and PF Jameel Warney.
Two scholarships remaining. I believe we have scholarships out
to PG Carson Puriefoy, SG Isaiah Cousins, and PF Clifton
Cornish.
I think PG should be Stony Brook's first priority as they need
to replace four year starter, Bryan Dougher, at the 1.

Saw on twitter that 5' 10" Norcom PG will take an official to
Stony Brook. He averaged 11.5 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals
per game last year on the 3rd ranked high school team in the
country.

Saw on Twitter (Live Recruit Academic) that Puriefoy will be at
Stony Brook University this weekend for his official
visit.......

Some other guys we have been recruiting but don't have any
confirmed offers
PG Sekou Harris
PG Lebrent Walker
PG Nigel Sydnor
SG Emile Blackman
and then there are two recently reclassified 2013's from
Marianapolis prep. I'm curious if we would offer either a
scholarship for 2012?

PG Dayshon Smith

I haven't seen any updates regarding Isaiah Cousins since July,
but he could be a big time player Stony Brook. His last
scholarship offer list was Stony Brook, Iona, Hofstra,
Quinnipiac, Manhattan and he listed Stony Brook as one of the
schools recruiting him the hardest.
